The experience commenced when we arrived on our coach and were welcomed on the bus by Margaret. Rooms were extremely spacious with huge bathrooms and quality fittings. Good washing facilities. Restaurant was beautifully decorated to give an outback feel, 3 course meals were superb with food ranges to cater for everyone's needs. The morning talk by Toni on history of...

We have stopped at this motel on previous occasions and saw no reason not to do so again. Rooms are large by any standard but lack the "little things" like crockery, cutlery, & a microwave but, with a restaurant on site, the expectation is that you will eat breakfast and dinner there rather in your room. A comfortable bed and...

Certainly value for money, clean and comfy. Air con a bit noisy and the room had mossies but mossie spray was supplied. Staff are very helpful. Smorgasbord breakfast was great hot food was tasty and well cooked coffee drinkable fruit was fresh. Smorgasbord dinner was also value for money.

Our tour group spent two nights there. The warmth of manager Tony's welcome reflected the ambience of the establishment. Every staff member I had contact with was delightfully use-friendly. Tony's talk to our group about many aspects of his home town, Longreach, was as informative as it was entertaining. The motel is on the out-skirts of town, but within easy...

We had a comfortable and large room with twin queen beds, away from traffic and convenient to the two major attractions. The staff at reception were very friendly and efficient. The motel is rather dated but that didn't worry us. We stayed in room 46. and the only complaint that we had was that the noise from the next rooms...

Fantastic staff, amenities and wildlife! 1st class meals at resonable prices. definatly worth a stay. Large rooms in a handy location, Tony and Jane were only too happy to accomodate us in earlier than normal room service breakfast and didnt seem to mind us had feeding their buiscuts to the resident brolgas.

We would stay here again, the staff are very friendly and helpful, Tony's town tour is well worthwhile and whilst the property is a bit old every aspect of our room was in very good condition and its shower reminded me that there was a time that we didn't need water saving outlets in big cities. The restaurant is good,...

The property is very well located out near the two major tourist attractions for Longreach - the Stockmans Hall of Fame and the QANTAS Founders Museum. It's pretty big with a restaurant attached. That is the good stuff. The property is showing its age. Room design is such that it's pretty gloomy and quite noisy. The aircon was one of...
