What an amazing place. The tree houses look over a landscape of tropical rainforest. Nature all around and although we didn't see platypus on our walk to the creek we didn't mind. The walks are tough though.

Hello, There is a difference of between 4 and 6 degrees in temperature between Cairns and the tablelands. we are almost 8oo metres higher . during our wet season we can get up to two metres of rain for the season, so it is very wet. There is a difference in humidity levels, but it can still be humid up here, just not as bad as down on the coast!
