We had a one night stop at this delightful B & B on our mini tour of the North Queeensland coast. As soon as we arrived we knew we should have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and the hosts were both welcoming and helpful. They just couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were spotless and we wanted for...

A Tropical Escape B and B was excellent in all regards. Whilst it was a large house property, all guest rooms were very private, as were the outdoors area for each room. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained - the best we have ever seen and a credit to the owners. The lounge and shared kitchen area was...

A lovely place to stay with friendly and gracious hosts Dot and Noel who, besides their great hospitality, provided my husband and I with loads of information on what to do and see in the region. Our room was exceptionally clean, the bed very comfortable and the pool table a welcome relaxation before bedtime. A lovely breakfast prepared by Dot...

Tropical Escape really is an excellent B & B, the accommodation couldn't be any better. Dot and Noel (the hosts) really made us feel at home. We even had use of a kitchen area which was useful to make picnics for the wonderful nearby beach. Dot even asks you not to bother washing any utensils as she will do that...

TV with DVD Player and many DVDs to watch, delicious breakfast, very nice hosts, they help you to find restaurants and all what you need... We loved this place and the only reason why we didn't stay more nights was the weather.

My partner and I have just stayed at the Tropical Escape again for the fifth time - Mission Beach is our favourite getaway. The accommodation is excellent and extremely clean and new. The hosts are Dot and Noel who make us feel very special each and every time we go there. They know the area and region backwards and are...

I really thought it was just so good. The best b&b I've been too. And I've travelled up and done the east coast at b&b's. The couple was very helpful and had lots of local knowledge. The separated rooms were very large and clean, onsuite inc. our stay was just perfect. Sophie and Jeremy.

Dot and Noel make the perfect place to relax and enjoy beaches and Great Barrier Reef. From the first day, when then they picked us up from the bus stop to the last day, they were very hospitable and always trying to help. Breakfast was delicious and talking to Dot and Noel calmly after breakfast is also very interesting. The...

Just realised I hadn't got around to writing a review after our stay here in Oct 2011, but thought I would put this to right as Dot & Noel were such excellent hosts and deserve the courtesy. From the first moment of our stay in Mission Beach when Noel picked us up from the Greyhound coach to the time he...

A Tropical Escape is a B&B in a modern house in quiet neighborhood. But it is more than just a house - it is more like a home because that is the way you feel while staying here (like part of the family). Dot and Noel are wonderful, caring hosts with lots of stories to share and valuable local information...
