Wonderful place to stay. Welcomed in the late afternoon with no booking, family owned business who are friendly and kind. Room very clean and comfortable, bathroom especially; semi renovated with great shower head, mirror and light for makeup!!! The small things really made our stay!

My partner and I stayed twice at the Lodge while on holiday at Cairns, once on our own and again with some friends. The Lodge offers much more than what is generally expected from accommodation of this type or price range. The rooms are welcoming, the beds are comfortable, the linen is generous and very clean, as is the whole... More

This would have to be the best budget motel we have ever stayed in. It had such a wonderful comfortable feel about it and so much attention to personal touches. From the lovely clean fresh rooms with lovely linen, fluffy white towels and fresh flowers to the wonderful patio area over looking a beautiful garden. For a little extra you... More

Lovely hosts, very clean, nice little touches. I really appreciated being shown our room and introduced to where things were. For budget travellers, this place was perfect. Even a tranquil, shady garden to relax in. Great location too. Highly recommended.

Came in here with no booking but we were warmly received. Rooms are average size, but our bathroom was quite large and spacious. There's a small deck/verandah area at the front of the rooms, it's not especially private but does look over the pleasant and well maintained garden. The location is off the highway, so it's a very quiet place,... More

Comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation within our budget with large choice of breakfast served outside in leafy garden surrounds; barbecue available if desired; within easy walking distance to town and lots of attractions close by. Wifi available for checking emails and planning ahead. Young friendly owners for whom nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed one night here. The room was comfortable with a small ensuite not much room for toiletries but no problem for one night. The bed was comfortable. Outside was a table & chairs where we sat & enjoyed our breakfast. It was much cooler staying here. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly but her partner... More

Nice clean & comfortable rooms within walking distance of the local shops, cafes & pub. Comfortable bed, had a great sleep. Walk to the famous Yungaburra markets. Friendly staff. Cute little village to stay at for a couple of days.

We loved the place. The cleanest, best set up, so quite, most comfortable bed, what else do you want. The host's went out pf their way to welcome everyone.
