Staff at on the Wallaby were very willing to help you out and offer suggestions on what to do in the area. Also, they were great to have a chat with at the beginning or end of your day. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed & cosy. Room and bathrooms were simple and clean. Convenience store & pub a very short...

The only hostel in Yungaburra. Nice and clean. Good matrasses in the dorms.  Yungaburra isnt a exciting town but a good hub in the region. You can play pingpong in the garden. Or try to spot the platypus who is living under a bridge closeby the hostel. We missed him :( For dinner: go to restaurant 'Nicks place'!

Well, if you are not looking for a 5 star wellness hotel, but a very friendly and "not too" typical place, with a very layed back athmosphere you re just right. Play some didge, have nice conversation or even book a wonderful tour here, but make sure you stay a bit!

A very welcoming and friendly place to stay.. The staff are very friendly and spent quite some time offering us tips on the best spots to visit.. They even have a map that they have made themselves to show people the Tablelands Hot Spots! Clean, tidy and friendly.. Definitely one of the best backpackers in OZ.

We went in late June, the weather was amazing and so was the trip. Our guide was so happy, informative and made everyone interact and joke. The trip itself was such a pleasure, and then finishing it off at this cozy place was just like icing on the cake. Such a great time! Highly recommend!

Beautiful location and amazing staff made this stay unforgettable. Not to mention the fact that they are extremely environmentally conscious which is always a great bonus. My friends and I had a really fantastic tour with the Wallaby lodge lead by Bart. Bart was funny, informative and knows how to say turtle in every language! Impresssive. Thoroughly recommended. The waterfalls were awesome and the wildlife plentiful.
