For anyone looking for for peace, tranquility, bird life, natural environment this is the place for you. Meningee is the treasure of the Coorong with resident Pelicans gliding above. The caravan park is meticulously looked after which allows dogs. Many of the sites are on the banks of Lake Albert. Highly recommend

Great little Park by the waters of Lake Albert. Some very nice grassed areas. Amenities are old but well kept and clean. Sites on the water front are the pick. Grassed right to the edge makes supervising in the shallow water easy. 42-45 and 70s sites are at the far end and a decent walk from the shower block. There...

Thankyou for your review. We agree the amenities block is a little further to walk but the quietness of the area makes up for that.(sites 44,45 are my personal favourites straight across from lake.) Regards Troy

We were a bit apprehensive about staying at this park as we were under the impression (wrong as it eventuates) that it did not have much shade. Happy to admit that this is not the case. The lake is absolutely magnificent, gorgeous in the morning and spectacular at night. There is abundant bird life populating the gum trees. The park...

Taking our time on our way to Adelaide we thought two days at Meningie would be a nice stopover. Wished we could've stayed longer.Friendly staff at book in,well maintained grounds and amenities, and an easy walk to and around town. The large grassed site on the lake was perfect with easy access for the kayaks and swimming (waist deep) congrats to the...

Cannot fault this park. We had a swan cabin for the night that was absolutely spottless overlooking the lake. All the amenities are spottlessly maintained and are a credit to the park management. We have already highly recommended this park to our family and friends.

Had a large family gathering here at a peak time. Managers were very obliging in helping us group our sites. Large grassed powered sites and excellent amenities. Also had 2 cabins (one 2 bedroom & 1 single bedroom}, both very well appointed. Plan to go back.

Stopped for a one night on our way to Adelaide. Spotless ablutions and facilities. Beautiful and peaceful view from the banks of the lake. So nice that we bought dinner in town and came back to camp to sit on the grass meters from our caravan and meters from waters edge. Couldn't wish for better. Small playground for kids, plenty...

This neat and tidy caravan park is located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Albert and is set among native trees. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and very enjoyable. It is also dog friendly. The lake itself is fringed with reeds and attracts a number of bird species. The facilities are well maintained and the shower/toilets are kept...

Visited in peak time and had an unpowered site with two tents. More room here than the caravan sites and basically a free for all on picking a site. Great uninterrupted onto the lake and safe swimming for the two 10 yo boys. Complimentary electric BBQs if required, amenities are spotless and there is also a convenience store, laundry and...

thankyou for kind review. Yes unpowered area is very roomy- used to be 15 sites in that area down to 6/7 as not a fan myself of jam packing everyone in.

We stopped by here for one night on route to Adelaide & so glad we did. We have a 2 birth camper and didn't need electric so we were able to pick a spot right on the edge of the stunning lake where we could listen to the water lapping the shore and watch the pelicans swimming and flying across...
