Booked this place judging by previous reviews, however our stay was quite disappointing. From the dirty coffee machine complete with cockroach, to the missing door handle..tv that didn't work, clock that didn't work etc. Also if a bbq is advertised, a bbq should be provided, and good luck trying to contact owners regarding queries. My advice..give it a miss!!

Perfect getaway. Open fire in bedroom and bathroom. Wooden floors, four poster bed, luxurious bath, well stocked kitchen, private garden and nice balcony. Loved the linen, artwork, coffee machine and all the attention to detail. Fabulous breakfast. Close to historical centre of town - perfect base for exploring Strathalbyn. Or just stay tucked up inside, watch movies on the big...

Stayed two nights, no service in between, breakfast a bit on the small side but outclassed by the king bed , twin shower and huge spar bath. Generous room sizes with balcony facing a reserve. Walking distance to all facilities and restaurants.

Only stayed one night, would love to stay longer..... Well appointed, large apartment (Villa Red). This villa does not have a spa but a roomy shower and heated towel rack made the bathroom facilities more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the living room and kitchen area spacious with a very comfortable lounge bean bag as well as...

This group of self-contained well above average villas are a delight. Villa Chocolate, with its Hot Tub Jacuzzi, back and front courtyards, and old style fireplace is a gem. The management were very understanding to my needs and the Villa itself is first class in layout, design, comfort and quality fixtures and fittings. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, the Villas...

We were greeted by Deena, who is very easy to talk to and showed us through the Villa. The place is spacious, clean and the back deck has a great view of many trees and abundant bird life (and screeching cockies). We spent 4 nights in Villa Red and I felt so completely relaxed, it was wonderful. Also, we opted...

Booked Villa Java through Strathalbyn Villas website and were so happy with the place! It was gorgeous and clean inside with two fireplaces and a huge bath, as well as a balcony. Breakfast provisions were supplied as well as some chocolate. We will be back without a doubt, thank you!

We have stayed here a couple of times now in Villa Red, and we just love it! Very clean and tidy accommodation with lots of attention paid to the little things, such as providing fresh coffee for the coffee machine, fresh bread and jams for breakfast, and even some chocolate! The cool nights aren't a problem snuggling up in the...

Booked Villa Red through Strathalbyn Villa's website http://www.strathalbynvillas.com.au/ Email communications subsequently was not so responsive, the best way to contact the owner Becky is by phone. As the lock on Villa Red was damaged when we checked in, Becky let us stay in Villa Chocolate for the night while she arranged for the lock to be fixed the next day....

Villas are walking distance to town with cafes, antique shops, pubs etc. Villas are extremely tidy and clean and modern with lovely mod cons. Luxurious feel especially Villa Chocolate with the outdoor spa! Breakfast provisions are very generous and fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!
