Looking for somewhere for lunch we came across this hotel, so glad we did. Had the best Roast Lamb, our plates were loaded with Lamb and Garvey and potatoes, you then helped yourself to hot vegetables. Great value for $15:95. Good old fashion service, lovely decor. They had other great cheap options for meals and good prices. Would highly recommend.

We had a bunch of ole fart bikies stay last weekend and Andrew and his staff could not have been more helpful. Ensuring our prized rides were in a secure park and finding rooms that suited our needs. Like nobody over 80 in the top bunks!! The restaurant staff were a great team, always happy and helpful. The meals were...

What a great place to eat! Eating here is the highest definition of good pub grub. We had the seafood basket for two. For $35, wasn't expecting too much but was very pleasantly surprised. It was very generous with Oyster Kilpatrick, scallops, prawns both crumbled and skewered, fillet of fish and the best salt and pepper squid ever. Awesome food...

We had roast lamb for $14.90, plus salad bar and cooked vegetable bar. The veges were nice and hot, and the roast lamb was good. The surroundings are very plain, but service was good, and friendly. A glass of house white was very pleasant, and cost $4.50. A can of cider was $6.50. We couldn't fit in dessert, but chocolate...

This lovely old building has not been renovated as well as it good be. The meals are hearty but the service and ambience is ordinary. Why don't VH pubs promote local wines more? It's worth a walk upstairs just to how lovely this building is and how much more the downstairs could be enhanced. Wayne

We were looking for tea whilst staying at Victor Harbour and called in there, to have a drink and consider the possibilities. The atmosphere was vibrant and busy, yet the staff took time to ensure we were well cared for. We ordered our meal and it arrived quickly. It was delicious. The fish was well cooked, but not dry, the...

Ordered a scotch fillet and instead received a T bone ( which was night special). Staff was very apologetic and responsive. Meal was ok, but nothing special. The help yourself veggies in ban Marie were delicious. Fantastic staff and quick meal service. Also very good value for money apart from smallish serving of chips
