Recently stayed at the Carlisle Inn at Sugarcreek Ohio sister-in-law and I needed a little get away. The Inn was great the beds were comfy, the food was good and the hotel was very well appointed. We even saw a play while we were there it was called Mennonite Girls Can Cook and it was hillarious. We did a little... More

My husband and I stayed at the Carlisle Country Inn for two nights and we didn't want to leave. Jim and Lori were wonderful hosts and attended to our every need. Everything was decorated beautifully for Christmas; even our room had a little Christmas tree in it. The breakfast was very good and hearty; scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast and... More

When we checked in we were absolutely blown away. The room was decorated so beautiful, very cozy, homey, with all the amenities you could ever want. We were on the second floor with a wrap around porch with rocking chairs overlooking the beautiful Ohio valley. We had access to the lobby, which was like your own living space, the best... More

This was by far the best place my husband and I have stayed. We were welcomed upon arrival and given a brief introduction to the area. It just so happened we arrived on an Amish religious holiday so were given guidance to eat on non-Amish establishments. Then we were left alone to enjoy the beauty of the area and the... More

This is a perfect getaway for a couples weekend in Ohio. It is country and B & B with all the modern conveniences. The king bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi tub is plenty big and deep for two. Jim and Lori were the perfect hosts -- just the right amount of friendly and helpful while letting us do... More

Great place, wonderful views. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. No onsite food service, but a breakfast voucher to a local restaurant comes with your room. You also have access to the large kitchen on site. Off the beaten path and so wonderful. Innkeepers gave us wonderful suggestions on things to do and places... More

Enjoyed two different rooms because of two different stays and enjoyed both nights. We were very impressed with the Innkeeper, Amy. She was so warm and friendly. She provided us with excellent suggestions for our visit to Holmes County. What an outstanding representative for her employer. I nominate her for "outstanding employee." Because she kept this Inn in top notch... More

I was the unusual business traveller coming to the Inn, and Amy accommodated me beautifully. Usually you receive a certificate for breakfast at the Farmstead - a restaurant around the corner . Because I was out so early in the morning, she generously brought in some yogurt and fruit for me to grab and go on the way out in... More

This is a clean, comfortable, and modern place to stay in Amish Country, Ohio. We were met by Amy, one of the managers of the place, and she immediately made us feel at home. She provided us all sorts maps, brochures, and recommendations for shops - we were interested in bentwood furniture and rockers, as well as places to eat.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the tradition of Carlisle Inn, seven graciously appointed guest rooms await your arrival. Like our other inns, you'll find each room has its own unique style and color palette with fine Victorian details such as lace curtains and four-poster cherry beds. The quaint setting is that of a home away from home, although each of our seven guest rooms has an outdoor entrance. With its more intimate setting, Carlisle Country Inn Berlin is an ideal location for family retreats. Deluxe rooms have a Jacuzzi tub and one suite has a spacious living area, fully-equipped Kitchen and extra bedroom. In keeping with its past as a Bed and Breakfast, the common areas feature a flat screen TV, a collection of DVDs and comfortable couches for lounging. Breakfast is included with your stay - from Monday to Saturday, you'll receive a certificate for free breakfast buffet at nearby Berlin Farmstead Restaurant. On Sundays, hot breakfast will be prepared and served at the inn. Carlisle Country Inn guests may swim in the pool at our Sugarcreek location. Formerly known as The Lamplight Inn Bed and Breakfast, Carlisle Country Inn was purchased in August of 2014. It is now owned by the family company that operates Carlisle Inns in Walnut Creek and Sugarcreek. ... more   less
