Very charming guesthouse (living room with fireplace, breakfast room with a very nice garden view) to spend time with friends and family. I had a really great time to celebrate one of my best friend's birthday in this guesthouse, enjoying the party, the night in the beautiful room (they are all different, very well decorated and very clean). I warmly... More

It was the second time we stayed in this lovely, heartwarming place! We were there 8 years ago, and we could feel they still love to meet and talk and eat with their guests. And that is why we love to go there. Having a lovely homemade breakfast in their romantic garden. The dinner, very tasteful with matching wines, and... More

Lovely peaceful location, very welcoming pleasant couple , easy to locate with a gps. Breakfast was traditional French Country, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, were perfect with a view over backyard with deck chairs and a bottle of wine, along with pet rabbit hopping about the yard, would love to stay another time.

Who would of thought that a gem like this existed in a small rural town. The rooms where all styled individualy and where gorgeous. Rhetoric hosts couldn't have been more friendlier or accommodating. My partner had not communicated that we required a room with a kitchenette so we only got a double room. As we came in at 2130 we... More

This old building exudes charm and character that you simply can't buy. The owners are extremely friendly and went out of their way to welcome is and the kids. Set in a sleepy village in gorgeous countryside, an evening walk around the village under starlight was magical. Great value also. Family of 6 had bed and breakfast £160.

Buried in a small village in the countryside near Tonnerre and within easy reach of Chablis this beautifully furnished house gives a warm welcome to travellers, including many artists of all kinds. The rooms are comfortable and laid out with originality. Home-made bread and jams for breakfast. A most agreeable place to stay.

On my trip to Burgundy by chance I discovered this wonderful guest house. Upon arrival Iwas welcomed warmly by my host Henri Ogier. Enjoying the beauties of the garden was already worth to stop at Les Champs Mélisey. Every room is lovingly designed/decorated with taste and a great touch of creativity and liveliness. The nights offer a tranquility you can... More

We had a wonderful stay in this most charming and welcoming home. As we arrived at short notice, we did not take supper, though the other guests were clearly enjoying themselves. However, wine and fruit juice was quickly produced by our charming hosts. In good weather, meals are served in the garden, with plenty of home made jams for breakfast.... More

Due to overbooking at another hotel, we were directed here at little notice. However we were made most welcome and a full 4 course meal was served with local produce. This is a place with loads of character and charming hosts.

My partner and I stayed here for just one night, but having arrived wished it could have been longer. It's relatively isolated, but a fabulous place. We had a really comfortable and spacious room which overlooked the huge, gorgeous garden. A home made breakfast in a delightful room - the best breakfast ever. The house is tastefully and eclectically furnished,... More
