I purchased this hotel the night before not knowing it wasn’t downtown upon finding out I quickly canceled it expecting there to be no problems. We’ll that was not the case they supposedly have a 24 hour cancellation policy where if you purchase the hotel within 24 hours of when your going to be staying then there is no refund. They failed to mention this at all and it said nowhere that this was the case if I would have been informed of this I never would have canceled the hotel and would have stayed here. Very disappointed in customer service I typically stay through this company and have always been pleased but I don’t understand how they could have this policy and just not inform you in anyway.
Very friendy & helpful staff! Building is "older" (1970's?) but has been well maintained & decroated in bright, cheerful colours. Bed was firm, but very comfortable. Breakfast was OK; there's a plesant Bob Evans next door (discount with your room key), & a local family owned restaurant across the street, but it was closed for vacation during my visit. I hear it is good also. Hotel was competitively priced. I have paid more & got less elsewhere
Worst stay ever at an holiday Inn express beds were uncomfortable staff was uncooperative and promised things that they could not bring in would not even allow an extra pillow or blanket very loud cleaning service pool was not warm breakfast was horrible stale food overcooked will not stay ever again and I have stayed at so many IHG hotels for work and never felt so Disappointed in service especially seems how everywhere you look there are signs that say how can we make your state better but they will not even look at you when you ask for something
This was the worst stay ever at an IGH property! I’m not sure where to start but the desk crew was rude and down right nasty! From a botched check in, keys that never worked, no room cleaning, vending machines that were empty to an errant call that woke me on a Sunday morning at 8:00 to check if I was the room that needed towels!!! No I wasn’t and then not allowing a noon check out to a platinum member. The rooms have been splashed with some white primer, no artwork, painting or anything and the doors, showers and tile are falling apart!!! Stay anywhere else but this property!!!
Wanted to give a 5 Star…but… Very friendly team, room on ground floor was quiet, clean and comfortable…breakfast buffet very plentiful and tasty. Responsive, safe shuttle to CLE, just a few minutes way. Really found this Holiday InnExpress to be a good place to stay….but, unable to get hot shower. Advised desk and at check out was advised that rooms on ground floor used to have jet tubs and you have to adjust shower water to near center, advised entire hotel will be renovated. No courtesy water bottles. Expectations as an InterContinental Ambassador were high….they came close.
Great one night heading to airport hotel. I would not stay multiple days unless this was a hub location. The location is great. Rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Water pressure left something to be desired. Did not notice any airport noise. Have to order a grab and go breakfast and pick up in morning. Choices are good and we ate in our room. Rooms have fridge, microwave and Keurig. I would stay here again if heading to airport or on a day trip.
The location of this property is just off the highway and conveniently close to restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Was a bit disappointed by the torn and raggedy edge of the carpet that greeted us. The staff was great and we enjoyed a late checkout. Appropriate measures were taken for dealing with the virus.
If I could give a 0 rating I would. Was not informed of 200.00 deposit that takes a week to be refunded when I booked. Not on their website either. Desk clerk ( blonde female) was horribly rude and not helpful. We were on an anniversary trip and the way we were treated was disheartening. The beds left us both in severe back pain and the rude desk clerk neglected to tell us that in order to participate in the breakfast you have to have an order placed the night before. I will NEVER in a million years recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be calling their cooperate offices. Also took pics of the room before departure in case they try to keep our 200.00.
The hotel was as expected: nothing great, but nothing really bad. Many of the amenities were not available because of COVID restrictions. Breakfast was available for pick-up at the front desk: pastries and a prewrapped breakfast sandwich from Bob Evans which could be heated in the in-room microwave--not bad. Our greeting on check-in was rather brusque, but they were very helpful when I forgot a charger cable in the room and they found it and had it ready for me to pick up. Room was reasonably clean and quiet and beds were comfortable.
Don’t ever use this hotel. Dirty. Staff very rude. Unfriendly. Manager not on site. And staff refused to connect with manager. Very dirty place. In general there are much better places to stay at Cleveland airport than this hotel. Not worth single penny
