Ruth and Bryan are excellent hosts. I felt right at home and like we had known each other awhile. We had great communication as my flight had gotten delayed and I ended up arriving later than expected. I got a wonderful history lesson of the surrounding counties, definitely need to come back to explore. Their house is warm, inviting, quiet, peaceful, tastefully decorated, and spotless. I asked for a recommendation for dinner and Bryan didn't hesitate with the Black Fork. Great food and fun atmosphere. This is a wonderful place to call home away from home and I highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved our stay at Luftberg Farms B&B. From the beautiful location, to the rich woodwork and decor of each room, to the knowledgeable hosts who willing shared all there is to do in the area, and the amazing food, could not have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a quiet getaway and reconnect with God's beautiful countryside, would highly recommend staying!

Wow, where to begin. Easily the best traditional bed & breakfast we've ever stayed at. Brian and Ruth really make you feel like family... while giving you all the personal space you need to enjoy their beautiful home. And the breakfast is delicious! I'm not sure it gets better than this...

Ruth and Bryan are lovely hosts. They were very hospitable and made us feel like staying with family. Their home is beautiful and breakfast was great - they tailored it to our lower sugar style and it was wonderful. The large tea selection plus great conversation was delightful. Highly, highly recommend a stay here.

We had such a beautiful and peaceful stay! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed our breakfasts with Bryan and Ruth! We had a wonderful breakfast with home made rhubarb coffee cake (yum!) and fresh sausage and we even got to go back with Bryan and collect fresh eggs from the barn for breakfast! We walked through the garden and visited with the resident bull frog!!! What a Great Stay! Would highly recommend!!!

Our stay with Bryan and Ruth was wonderful!
They take pride in providing their guests with a cozy room and a delicious and generous breakfast. They are welcoming and accommodating, and their home is beautiful and immaculate!

My husband and I especially enjoyed the serene location with beautiful views.

I was thrilled with farm fresh ingredients for breakfast. During our stay, we enjoyed freshly made tomato juice from the garden, eggs from their own hens, and pure maple syrup that Bryan tapped himself!

We hope to return again, and highly recommend this B&B!

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Luftberg Farm. First, the location and the house are beautiful. The views from the front and back porches are breathtaking, along with the trails around the property. We enjoyed looking in the bluebird boxes to see the baby birds. A picnic area, fire pit and hammocks are also available to enjoy. Each of the four rooms are gorgeous, with a mix of antique and amish built furniture. The best part of our stay, however, was meeting Bryan and Ruth. We were greeted with hugs and immediately felt like old friends. That evening we enjoyed a few hours of conversation on the screened in porch with them and the other couple staying at the B&B. The same thing was done the next morning at breakfast, which was a delicious spread of homemade Belgian waffles, sausage and fresh fruit. Before leaving, they shared a bunch of Rhubarb with us from their garden. We will definitely be staying with them again and would highly recommend Luftberg Farm to anyone staying the area.

Bryan and Ruth have put thoughtful detail into the entire stay. They were very accommodating and even sent a breakfast care package with my husband for his early departure. Unfortunately, our stay did not afford us the time to enjoy the grounds as much as we would have liked. Plan on spending some relaxing time enjoying the tranquil vistas while you are here. A truly inviting space with activities for all ages.

We stayed 3 nights with Ruth and Bryan, using it as a hub to visit the State fair in Columbus, and the Mohican State Park. We arrived later than expected as we came from Amish Country, and we had dinner before heading to Butler. Ruth and Bryan graciously waited up for us to show us their lovely home.

My husband and I were traveling with our college age daughter and though they had a room with ample beds, they do not have en-suite rooms, and we would have had to share the bath. We ended up renting 2 rooms to make sure we had a bathroom to ourselves. We didn't want to waste precious vacation time waiting for others in a bathroom.

The home is a shared home experience rather than a traditional "bed and breakfast", which is fine with us. We try to stay with locals to give us the flavor of the area. There are no TVs in the rooms. The TV is in the home's family room. The home sits on 38 acres. It is 15-20 minutes from activities/restaurants.

Ruth prepares a traditional "farm" breakfast consisting of eggs, meat, fruit, and muffins. The meal time is flexible. Ruth and Bryan join you at the table and we enjoyed no stress conversation looking out over the beautiful garden.

The home is a lovely lodging option if one is visiting the Mohican State Park area.

Centrally located in the Mohican State Park and Amish country area near Butler, Ohio, the hosts, Ruth and Bryan have built a charming spacious house with Amish craftsmanship. The view from the porch is expansive and there are trails in the woods for hiking and bird watching. Luftberg is located near many rails to trails bike paths which is why we have stayed there two years in a row. Oh, and I should mention that their breakfasts are marvelous and.filled with interesting conversations and information.
