Home for the Holidays but needed our own space. Lower level Carriage House was just right for us. Parking outside of door, comfy bed, nice bathroom with extra shelf space. Didn't spend too much time there and Curt was very accommodating with price which was very much appreciated. We loved the location in historic Roscoe Village. We didn't have breakfast here but love, love, love the Warehouse Restaurant and Tavern just a walk away.

Six of us, 3 couples, stayed 2 nights. Curt, the owner, was pleasant but to be honest this was the dirtiest place we have EVER stayed. There were a couple of exchange students staying at the Inn with Curt who were living in the rooms prior to us arriving. We still had clothes in the closets, shampoos and etc. in the showers and the rooms were VERY dirty. In fact, we were not certain the sheets had been changed. On one afternoon we found the exchange student in one of our rooms, which had been locked, going through the closet and dresser drawers to get out clothing. The first breakfast consisted of blueberry pancakes and some fried processed ham. The second breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs only. We had to ask for some meat and toast and when we did we received mushy fried sausage of some kind. We had Curt's dogs barking and scratching at our doors in the middle of the night waking us up. This was around 3-3:30 in the morning. While eating the second morning breakfast we found dog poop on the floor by the door in the dining room. Like I said, Curt was pleasant but the facility was absolutely terrible.

The Apple Butter Inn has become our favorite place to relax and spend precious time with our family. Curt couldn't possibly do a better job with the place and breakfast is spectacular in the quaint dining room. Our granddaughters have been welcomed each year of their lives as if they were part of Curt's own family. Our room was tastefully redone and looks out over the village. If you're looking for drinks with little umbrellas and a 5-star ocean front view, go to Maui. But if you're looking for a relaxing stay at great-grandma's house with a better cook than she was, come to Curt's place.

Perfect place to stay while volunteering at the local airshow. Near the airport and walking distance to Roscoe Village. Curt prepared breakfast on our schedule. The front porch gave us a relaxing view of Coshocton after working all day at the Airshow.

Our daughter's and son-in-law's surprised us with reservations at Apple Butter Inn. We really enjoyed our stay there. Curt was very nice, the little dog's were cute. Breakfast delicious. We stayed in the carriage house down stairs. Room was very nice and clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed walking around the village and meeting the shop owners. We had a great 50th wedding anniversary. Thanks Julie & Vince, Kim & Ron for this very special surprise !!! We will probably go back !!!

We came across this by accident but was a gem. We didn't have a dog so didn't need space under the bed and we loved the nik naks. If you want contemporary minimalist style don't come here and complain after..its homely and full of stuff and that's its charm.mmRoscoe is a pretty village and we were there for the apple butter festival..small point WIFi didn't work in the cottage..

Unaware that the Dover, OH area would be completely sold out of rooms on a Friday night in July, we were directed to the Apple Butter Inn by a helpful Hampton Inn employee. Curt had a Carriage House room available and was very gracious to us coming in at 9:00 pm. He also was very flexible with our breakfast time as we were still about 40 minutes from Dover and needed to be there early. The room was very spacious and quiet. Antiques and unique amenities were displayed in a relaxing manner. We walked down the hill into Roscoe Village, but by 9:00 pm most everything was closed except the Uncorked restaurant who had live music on their patio. We enjoyed the music as we walked, but were undisturbed by it in our room. Breakfast was delicious with good conversations with Curt and the other guests. Travel can sometimes throw unexpected things at you, but this one had a very good outcome.

The Apple Butter Inn is a B&B ran by a wonderful, man named Curt who is a retired teacher. There are B&B's all over now and some people are just really good at it, and Curt is definitely one who is. He is very helpful, and personable - we felt like part of the family while we were there. The house was built in the 1840's and has a carriage house. We stayed there for 4 days, and it was peaceful, quiet, clean and one of the most relaxing vacations that we have had. Curt greeted us each morning with a fantastic home cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, juice, hot coffee and tea. Hospitality here is fantastic, Curt is a wonderful host and this large home is walking distance to Roscoe Village, a lovely canal town with lots of history and shops. The people there are so nice, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We had a wonderful stay here, we both work stressful jobs and this was the perfect getaway to unplug & relax. Life is much more laid back here, and we needed that. The house does have wi-fi if you want to "plug in" or have technology time. There are so many neat things to do in the area, and this house is located in a great central location to make day trips a delight.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here at the Apple Butter Inn B&B. Owner Curt is a perfect host and a really great cook! When I walked into his Inn I felt as if I was back in Coshocton, Ohio as a child where my sister's and I spent many summers with our Grandma Evans. You'll love staying here!

loved our trip to Roscoe Village. this B&B overlooks the village and everything is in walking distance. Its quaint, quiet and clean. Curt, the owner, was a great host with delicious breakfasts served on old china. If you like antiques you will enjoy the surroundings. Curt was gracious, provided tips for our stay and we enjoyed his company. Our room was cozy and we had all we needed that we would have wanted in a regular room somewhere but here we we enjoyed the added atmosphere of years gone by. we originally planned to stay 2 nights but we had such a good time that we stayed a third. We will definitely stay here again when in the area again. The price was right!!!!
