We stayed at the Lodge due to my children competing at SPIRE Institute - which is just down the road. BEST DECISION EVER. The Lodge is relaxing, yet has many options for singles, couples, and families to engage in as much activity as you want....More
Guest cottage just opened in June 2016 - we visited in late October .Very nice and relaxing as for the cottages itself. The beds are horrible, as like you are sleeping on a board. Disappointing you can't drink adult beverages outside by fire pits. The...More
Warm, Expansive Lodge Atmosphere... Cordial Staff... Superb Winery and Culinary Experience, in close Proximity!
The Breakfast Buffet offered Delicious Variety, in every aspect. The Service, Superb, and Fun. ...Brava, and Bravo!
The wine shuttle tour was really fun. The driver was informative and on time. I would go back again. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The grounds are very scenic and quaint. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of food selections.

There is a paved trail along the lake into Geneva State Park, past the Marina with boats and the beach. About 2.25 miles long with benches near The Lodge for catching the sunset over the lake. Easy and flat if you are thinking of riding bikes or hiking with little ones.
There are also unpaved gravel/wild trails throughout the park- 3 levels of difficulty from easy to hard, I believe. The front desk has a map to keep you on track! This summer The Lodge is adding a zipline Canopy Tour and Challenge Course for adults and one for kids, so that may be something exciting to do as well.
Also, (I love your name!) there is an Irish pub open on weekends in summer that is family friends and serves Irish food, even kid friendly dishes. Hope this helps!
