The hotel is pretty close to the main road, it had few good cafe's in the walk able radius. The hotel is comfy, the only problem was they always wanted us to order one meal/day ahead. But our travel schedules were erratic and we weren't able to order, the folks still accommodated our request. The person sitting in the reception...

The house us well maintained and the staff were courteous and extremely polite. Mr Sharma the manager was great. The food was excellent and very...

This was my first stay Apsara Guest house where I booked after reading about it in the net. I had an excellent stay in terms of ambience, atmosphere and the behaviour of the staff. Mr Sharma the manager and the waiter Shiva were outstanding in their service. The courteous behaviour and helping nature is simply out of this world. This...

Great Location, spaciously large rooms, great view, homely food (Quantity is really large) a peaceful stay in Shillong. We woke up with the bells of nearby school. Food need to order in advance and they will make as per your choice.

If you are looking for a homely place to stay and especially if you are a woman traveling alone, there can be no better and safer place to stay. I ended up in this place accidentally, shaken from a recent earthquake tremor and staying on the 4th floor of a certain hotel, I had to look for one with a...

We have been there when the guest house was new but over the years the service and property seems to be in urgent requirement of renovaton. Maintenance is not up to the mark. But the locality is very good. The long uphill road is very nice for a refreshing walk. A proper facelift may serve remarkable benefit to the ptooerty.

The rooms are large and spacious. Cleanliness is average. They had running hot water but did not have good heaters (which is absolutely essential in a place like Shillong during winters). Plus the heaters were charged Rs. 200 extra per night. The service wasn't great and food was overpriced if compared to the rates in restaurants outside the hotel. The...
