We were a group of 7 guys looking for a place to crash during the Weekender. Budget was a factor as we are just college students, Magnificent guest house. Beautiful property. Located at a very posh locality. Everything is well accessible. Well cleaned and maintained rooms. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the mountains.A very homely staying experience. Rules... It is a lovely place to stay. Everyone is very cordial. Most of the places in Shillong are nearby and very accessible. I loved the hospitality and homely food. Owner of the hostel is very helpful and caring in nature. Overall 10/10.

If you are planning to look for a stay here, I would like to bring to your notice the hustle and the ill mannered owner that is there. Though agreeing to the T&C and waiting for the decent reply of booking confirmation, I was accused to not reply to the bugger owner in time instead me having the proof and... More

The owner seems to be a policy maker. He has policies which don't make sense. Try's to show he is too cool but is exactly the opposite. The staff is great. The bedsheets are over used. The bathroom shower doesn't work and he doesn't seem to believe even when shown practically. The health faucet also doesn't function while he likes... More

Too many rules, dos n donts as you check in the guest house ... Rooms are very very basic, n the view is also not very exciting ... Among the few positives are still a nice property with a garden so good for kids ...n location is convenient ... But overall We r not staying there again and anyone should... More

I decided to stay at Summit Guest House because I preferred a guest house or home stay rather than a hotel, but I ended up being quite disappointed. The building with the guest rooms is attached to but separate from the main house. While architecturally interesting, the place felt barren and cold, with sparse decoration, and a dining room that... Nestled away on top of Lachumiere, Summit Guesthouse is a little gem. It is easily accessible and staying here makes you feel like you are a part of this lovely town. The proprietor is particular about the guests so rest assured you won't find any untoward people around which is a pleasant change from other establishments. He is extremely helpful... More

Worst guest house ever seen. Welcomed with long lecture and list of do's and dont's inside the guest house. Many of the things are kept hidden from us at the time of booking the guest house. Only thing that is good is its location.

A great place, located on top of Lachumiere Hill which offers a beautiful view of the Hills bordering the North of Shillong. The owner, Mr Hussain is very friendly and cordial and almost has a grand fatherly feel to him, and takes a personal interest in your well being. Be assured you will be safe and well cared for.
