I had a room to myself on the top floor. It was the cutest room with a tiny bathroom, clean and well kept. A balcony with overhanging bougainvillea and I could see the hills. Totally fell in love with the quaint place. If you are looking for fresh towels and room service, then this may not be the right place....

I can understand why someone with a family or a couple might not like this place, but if you are a solo traveller looking for a clean place to stay at in Shillong, travellers nest might be the place for you. The room given to me for 500 a night was clean, and had a clean attached bathroom. They also...

I wouldn't have given that single star, if possible. This is actually a poorly designed home, which has been transformed into a worst designed guest house. In one room, balcony has been converted into toilet. Place under staircase has been converted into room in another case. Water leaking from toilet pipes flows down along staircases.... A toilet(converted from balcony) has...

We stayed in a room which had attached kitchen. It costed us Rs. 1300/-. No doubt the people are really good but I would request them to kindly upgrade the room a bit. I would say its meant for frequent travllers who spent most of the time outdoors- exploring , shopping etc. Its not meant for people who are looking...

The room and the bathroom were very clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. For the price of Rs.800 I don't think there is a better b&b in Shillong. The only issue I have is the food that is available there for lunch/dinner is not worth the price they charge at all. Also, the complimentary breakfast is simple omelette...

Yes its a b&b place and one doesnt expect much. But being cheap doesnt mean compromising on bare basic quality and hygiene. The place is a filth. Cobwebs, broken windows and just did not smell right. One of the most horrible places I have ever stayed at.

Traveller's Nest is away from the tourist area of Shillong in Kench's Trace. It is situated on a hill top. A forested area with tall pine trees is a 10 minute walk from here. The share taxi stand is opposite the home stay and one can reach Police Bazaar in 10 minutes. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. A...

My friend and I stayed at the Traveler's Nest for 4 days. It is a nice medium sized friendly place. The room was clean, it had the essentials. If there was something that we needed, we would ask the staff and they would usually provide it. The breakfast was simple but good.

The room i stayed in was just Rs.500! since i was alone... and what i noticed was that there were utensils and gas stove (i assumed you could actually cook for yourself if you asked and prolly pay extra.. that also...

We visited there after our tiring trip to meghalaya. For Rs1000 we got a stay for 2 in non ac with breakfast which is pretty good deal. It has a good location too as compared to other budget hotels. The only disappointing factor was service was very slow
