This is a decent hotel with a beautiful lobby in a good location in Longyearbyen. My problem was that I booked two rooms- 2 one bedroom suites for my family and for my parents but when we arrived we were given a junior suite.(A tiny, tiny room) the catch is that we still had to pay for the big room....

Well firstly the rooms are good but not perfect. I would still say that if you compare these rooms to other hotels in longyearbyn they are as good as it gets and the location and view are really good. The restaurant in the hotel is really good. Helpful staff and a really nice sauna.

The room left a little to wish for. The blinds covering the windows let the midnight sun in to my room and the bed was not what I had expected. But the restaurant was nice and the staff was friendly In the middle of the city? Well, you walk for 3 minutes and you have passed through Longyearbyen so yes,...

The placement of this hotel in Longyearbyen is probably the best, and the building itself is impressive. Facilities such as an a la carte restaurant, pub, sauna and more. Great breakfast, and even greater dinner in the Nansen restaurant or Barents pub with the same kitchen. A good but more expensive choice when travelling to Svalbard!

In general the hotel delivers a product that would pass the quality check. However, inconsistency amongst staff in terms of following (or knowing) the policy and the rooms need to be looked after better as they are showing signs of wear and tear. For the price you pay per night one would expect the condition to be better. One very...

This hotel is located across the main shopping street in Longyearbyen. The Standard Double Room is fairly spacious but furnishings in the room and bathroom are old and tired looking and could well do with a replacement. There is a small Nespresso coffee machine in the room as well as a small television. It costs about KR 160 by taxi...

The location can't be bad as there is hardly anything in this place in any case. One roads and a few restaurants and shops. That 's it. People come here for one or two nights in the way to their ship. There is nothing much to do and the place is tiny.

The hotel was perfect, not luxurious, but perfect. The view of the snow-capped mountains when we walked into the lobby was spectacular. The hotel was within walking distance to Longyearben. The room was basic and clean. The shades over the windows only partially diluted the sunlight. I found it difficult to sleep because the room was still bright. We brought...

Stayed here overnight on the way to the Arctic. It is comfortable, the staff is friendly and accomodating. Free WiFi, a little slow, but totally understandable. Taxi or bus drop you at the front door. A good choice.

Stayed at the Radisson Blu Polar in Spitsbergen. It is anice Hotel. My room was overlooking the carpark which was ok as it was a quiet place. The blackout blinds on the window did not really keep out the light so it was a bit hard to sleep. Beds were comfortable. and clean. Bathrooms were fine.Towels were small. maybe bring a larger...
