We had booked in to stay for 2 nights but ended staying for 1. The room was boiling and when we turned on the fan that was provided, a massive cloud of dust began blowing across the room. The "double" bed was two singles that had been pushed together so we constantly kept getting a gap in the middle. The matress was paper thin and it felt like we were laying on wood. My partner got 0 sleep all night and I only managed 1-2 hours purely because I knew I had 2 young children to look after the next morning. TV was tiny and there was a strange smell in the bathroom. There was yellow grime around the plug holes in the shower and sink. Shower water pressure was awful - could have a better shower in the rain. Booked our second nights stay at a different place which charged £20 less and was of a far better standard. Staff were friendly but would deffinitly NOT visit again or recommend.

Room 9 is like a late 70’s throw back. Very tired overall needs maintenace. TV doesn’t work, furniture is scabby Paid £75 for a double room without breakfast but was two singles together Would have been a lot better off in a premier bin Not value for money Menu was really limited and expensive £14 for a burger which pretty much came by itself Would not revisit

Went with family for a Christmas lunch. Have been here many times over the years and always found it good. Not so this time. The food wasn’t particularly good and the waiting time was so long! Not good for the price you pay. Staff were abysmal and some of them rude. Very disappointed to say the least! Would rate it Xero if I could.
