We made an overnight stop en route to Scotland. The menu was simple but the food was delicious. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for what we needed.

6 of us stayed in 3 rooms for the annual Birthday weekend away. The Kings Arms is a very nice, local pub with lovely friendly staff. We stayed in the Wainwright room which is in the newly renovated `barn` building. The room had a massive bed that was 3 pillows across, a TV, tea making things, dressing table and plenty...

This is our second stay at this pub and I can't really fault it. First time we stayed in one of the rooms in the pub, which was very comfortable, this time we stayed in one of the rooms in the converted barn which was first class. The barn has been sympathetically converted with a tasteful interior colour scheme. The...

Food was really nice not bad portions . In Burton in Kendal the Royal Arms Hotel is the only public house/ pub in the village so in my eyes...

I went here with family & friends for drinks & food & had a fun time. Friendly hosts and staff. Food great. Room good & clean (we stayed in one of the barn rooms) only one negative, there was not a point beside a mirror for my hair dryer. Would definitely recommend the Kings Arms.
