I visited Staffield Hall with my husband to celebrate my 40th birthday. After reading the reviews I was unsure it could live up to expectation but it actually exceeded it! As expected it was quite tucked away but the sat nav did the trick. Walking into the hall I expected it to smell a little old & musty but it...

We stayed here on the May bank holiday after getting a good deal on Amazon. We definitely would not pay the full price for this property as stated on the website. We arrived with the information provided by the owner with the security code to enter the property. The website states that the accommodation we were staying at dovecot was...

We're constantly working on the grounds and the hall and the rock left by the farmer was to stop the sheep getting into the grounds rather than keeping guests from the fields, next year we will have stile built to help as well. Very pleased that you enjoyed your stay and we do hope to see you return again soon....

My family of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids age 15,13 & 11) were very happy with the Manor Hall. It was very spacious and immaculately clean with 3 double bedrooms each with its own ensuite bathrooms! Plus an extra toilet (total 4 toilets!) Two of my girls had to share a bed but it was not a problem. You...

The butlers loft was once the nursery, a fitting place to stay as this was a gift from all my friends from a children's centre, whith whom I have worked with for a very long time. We stayed at Staffield hall for three nights, the hall and gardens were breathtaking. The views from the accommodation were unbelivable. Early one morning I saw...

I would like to thank Staffield hall for letting us stay. We stayed on the King Oswald room with are two youngest daughters (7&8) who had a great time. It's lovely decor and well equipped kitchen helped, as well as the beautiful views from our window. As for eating there are several country pubs near by and can highly recommend...

The family and dogs met up at Staffield Hall for a break in the unexplored area of the Eden Valley. What a delight - Staffield Hall was a superb venue and the Eden Valley a really outstanding area of unspoilt, uncrowned beauty. The apartment was beautifully furnished, warm and very comfortable. Everything had been thought of and provided. The grounds...

We stayed in the Butler's Loft and found it lovely and cosy. We had everything we needed. The bedroom had a black out blind so we were not awoken due to the sunlight coming in at 5 am. The kitchen is well equipped (however the can open needs replacing). The lounge is a nice size for a couple and is...

We've just got home from a stay in Staffield Hall, and what a little gem it is! We stayed for 3 nights in the Lady Tower, the apartment was exceptionally clean, light, well maintained and just as advertised. The fittings are great and keep in tune with Staffield Hall whilst providing great functionality. Although, we never met Michael and Marie,...

Thanks for this lovely review about Staffield Hall - its really perked us all up this morning. We are always so pleased to hear when guests have an enjoyable and memorable time at Staffield Hall. This is what our job is all about, providing the facilities for folks to get away from it all and relax in comfortable accommodation amongst...

The building was lovely, large, grand, however our room (Butlers Loft) was dark with small windows that you could not see out of, therefore feeling claustrophobic and gloomy. Various other broken things (dishwasher not working and very sharp carpet gripper in middle of kitchen) meant we moved rooms. Next room was larger (King Oswald), and very nice with the exception...

Hi, thank you for choosing to have a little break with us and for your review. The dishwasher has now been replaced with a brand new one. Occasionally such items do give up and its never at a convenient time and we are sorry you found it not to be working. We try to respond swiftly to any maintenance item...
