Lovely lunch in the sun last minute, nice enough place, not busy so served quick. Good menu, good food thanks, however we did notice the bar and waitress staff need a change of uniform though, looks scruffy and dirty. Not the best impression when serving food, so they need to smarten up a bit no matter how I’m busy they are. Good value too.
Excellent lunch and service. Called in without booking, and was pleased that they had a table. The Sunday roast for myself was a succulent beef with Yorkshire pudding and veg. Veg a bit al dente , but palatable. Beef was melt in the mouth, and so tasty. The vegetarian nut roast was excellent, and the side dish of cauliflower cheese was tasty. Cheese and biscuits and coffee were also excellent. Service was exemplary. Will return.
We love our visits to Briarfields. We often book in for breakfast before walking the dogs on nearby beaches. The staff are always friendly and the breakfast is superb with a cold buffet table and also a choice of hot options, freshly cooked and brought to the table. Dogs are welcome at the tables in the bar area and offered water bowls and lots of attention!
This was our fourth visit to Briarfields As ever we had a very relaxing stay The staff, room and food were all excellent A fantastic location with walking from the hotel to Brancaster, and Holme Dunes very near
Lovely hotel with comfortable and quiet rooms. The dinner was really outstanding - a cut above the average. The nicest steak I've had for a very long time and a good breakfast. Not the cheapest, but worth it for a bit of luxury, Staff very friendly and welcoming,
