Check in easy, all staff helpful and polite, big thank you to Jake the barman who took customer service that little bit further, which Im sure took him over his time. Was very much appreciated. Spacious room with very large comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice. Overall nice hotel.

Unbelievable Hotel. Rooms were fantastic. Bar was like a lovely country pub. Special mention to Jake who excelled in his dedication to the customer. He deserves a pay rise as he couldn’t do enough to make our stay a special one. Thank You Jake.

My bedroom in the main building was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. It was also very quiet and that is important to me. All the staff really friendly and helpful. It seemed to me that they cared about my stay. Evening meal was tasty, and everyone eating there seemed happy with the food. Having stayed in various places in and around Diss previously, this hotel offered good value, friendly staff and a comfy room. Will return.

I have stayed here many times over the last year. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are being updated. The location is perfect for work and visiting areas of interest of which there are many in Suffolk & Norfolk.

Arrived late in the day to be greeted by jonathon, what a lovely helpful man. We had asked for a walk in shower and our room didn’t have one, Jonathon soon sorted it out. Had an evening meal in the lovely bar lounge area, food was delicious . Room was spotless, with a lovely comfy bed had a great nights sleep, couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice continental and cooked.

My 2 night stay was very comfortable. I have given 4 rather than 5 for my review because there was no evening meal / breakfast for my first night as the restaurant hadn't re-opened after refurbishment. This wouldn't have been a problem, but i wasnt aware until i checked in.

We knew the hotel had problems with heating before we arrived but it was resolved the next day and didn’t cause us any discomfort. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and helpful. They coped very well in difficult circumstances. Breakfast was great , as was the room.

We have 4 people booked into this hotel currently. 22 Jan for a week. Never again. No central heating and its -5 outside a repair has been promised every day but it has yet to be resolved. noisy fan heaters provided. Bathrooms like iceblocks as the towel rail is fed via the wet system. Reception couldn't be less interested. 3 rooms booked at the Park Hotel (Diss) for next week.

Staff friendly well mannered and attentive, good music and good night. Shame about drunk people causing problems but to be expected with Christmas parties I suppose. Would definitely visit again for pleasure rather than business.
