Went to the Blyth Hotel for a one night stay with my husband and daughter and one of my grandchildren. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer. The hotel was lovely, the rooms we had were superb, rooms 5 and 11.. The staff were really helpful and especially good with our grandson Thomas who loved every minute...

From the outside the hotel does not look up to much, however inside is a well stocked pub with friendly staff. The room we stayed in, room 5, was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast menu offers a good selection and the food was tasty. All in all, a great location as it is walking distance to the town...

We stayed here with our dog for 2 nights. Whilst many people refer to the need for refurbishment, our room was maybe a little tired, but clean, very quiet (at the back), the bed was comfy and had everything we needed. Food was very good - breakfasts were well cooked with good quality local produce and the evening meal was...

Yes it should have been a glorious evening, but after being served a pint and a half of sour Broadside, and then being given a bit of a short measure, after a new barrel had been pulled through, it kind of took the shine off the evening.

The Blyth Hotel once fully refurbished will be an amazing place to stay. It's a period property which I love , we stayed in the Southwold Suite which is huge . The plumbing is a little to be desired and the windows should be double glazed but the present owners are still in the process I stated doing it up....

We stayed at the Blyth for three nights in March. Good location only a few minutes walk from the pier or the town centre. Friendly staff and although the car park is small there is plenty of off-street parking. The breakfasts were very good with an extensive menu, however for us the 8.30 start was too late as, being birdwatchers,...

The first thing to be said is that the Blyth Hotel website admits the building needs to be upgraded - and I can confirm that the wallpaper is sagging from the walls at the top of the house, and that ceilings are cracked. However, the dirt around the lower tiling of the shower shouldn't fall into this category. That said,...

We stayed at The Blyth for our minimoon this weekend. The location is excellent, only a few minutes to the high street and less than 10mins to the beach. The car park is a touch on the small side, we didn't move the car all weekend so as to not lose the parking space, not that we really needed the...

Location is good at the edge of town. Good that car parking is available. Very good breakfast cooked to order. Nothing really wrong with the room, except it was rather hot, the paintwork and furniture need an uplift, and getting a hot shower required a lot of patience and a degree in bathroom management! (Why do all showers have to...
