Stayed here overnight in February. Greeted by a welcoming receptionist who showed us to our top floor room and explained about reception hours etc. The Blyth is well situated as the town centre, pubs, sea front and pier are within very easy walking distance. There is limited parking but we found a spot on the street very close to the...

We stayed here on a Sunday night for a friends birthday. We arrived around 9:30pm as we had spent the day in town doing the distillery tour having food and drinks etc. We were called to ask how long we were going to be which we thought odd but as we were on our way anyway it didn't matter. When...

We avoided the Blyth for a long time as it was a bit odd, new owners now and its FANTASTIC! Friendly, great food, including gluten free options and nothing is too much trouble, but relaxed too. If you haven't been there for a while give it a try. Great location too.

Fancied a break in Southwold , the town of good beer etc. Stayed here as got a very good winter deal. Good spacious warm room with ensuite. Great location and easy parking. Not far to walk into town and on the corner of a road that leads down to the pier. Superb breakfast that set me up for some long...

We stayed for a weekend break. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom shower was good and powerful. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the food was cooked to order and served hot and was very tasty. The staff were extremely helpful and were very friendly. The hotel is going through a process of being refurbished, we look...

Friendly staff greeted us on arrival and showed us into our room. The room was comfortable with everything we needed for our two night stay. The decor was a little tired and the windows needed updating as there was quite a draught coming through, however the heating was sufficient to keep the bedroom from being cold. ( the same cannot...

We stayed at the hotel just before Christmas. Southwold is expensive and the hotel prices were great value. We had a lovely welcome and the place was warm and inviting. Nice bar and great breakfast area. We were upgraded to a bigger room on the front with sofa's and a huge corner bath. It is well located on the main...

After reading mixed reviews, this dog friendly hotel turned out to be better than expected. Our room was a decent size and had a nice comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. We particularly liked the ground floor area of the hotel, which was ideal for us as it had a separate restaurant area and a bar area. Dogs were allowed...
