No air con on first night and reception staff expected us to go back down to report it. Reported it next day. but nothing happened until we reported it again on second night. No fan in bathroom for whole stay. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable! Bedroom needs updating. Bed was old and the mattress was also old.

Read some Of the reviews and thought about maybe cancelling. So glad I didn’t. Really pleasant lady at check in. Explained about the parking which is run by someone else. (Read on for more info) room was bigger than expected and spotlessly clean. Everything worked. We were in the even numbered rooms which I recommend if you want to keep an eye on your car. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. All in all we were perfectly happy with our stay and even thought about purchasing some of the luxurious pillows. Car parking is five pounds a night and is run by a cowboy outfit. Ground floor is absolutely filthy with needles broken bottles and trash everywhere. Stinks of urine. We drove back out having paid our fiver. But noticed there was a second car park on the roof of the filthy car park. This is just as dirty but in the open air. And we were able to see the car from Our room. It wouldn’t take much to get this cleaned daily and not be such a black mark for the hotel. But the hotel itself is spot on.

Premier inn at Brentwood is a great place to stay. I stayed on business abs the location to the railway station was one of the reasons I booked here. I was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. The staff, in particular, are first rate! Very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast too!

Hi, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear you’ve been left disappointed by the change to our check-in time. To keep our housekeeping teams safe, we make sure there’s a delay between guests leaving and our teams entering rooms to minimise the risk of any virus particles that could potentially be circulating in the air. To give our teams more time and ensure our rooms are safe and cleaned thoroughly, we’ve changed our check-in time to 4pm on the day of arrival. Please be assured we’ve logged your feedback to our Brand & Policy team for internal review. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope we can welcome you for an enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Mo
