Booked this hotel on booking.com advertised as newly refurbished! What a lie, the place was dirty, iron blew up in my hand, when complained no apology, just got offered a replacement iron! Very rude manager, refused to refund us, we stayed there all of 2 hours then left! Lumpy mattress disgusting dirty room! Not fit for purpose, do not waste your money staying here!

When we arrived no1 was there to let us in eventually someone arrived no apology. We were shown a room but door was stiff several attempts before we got in. Upon entering the room it was clear the carpet hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Bathroom was tiny anyone over a size 10 will struggle. Mould in under sink unit. Cold shower water pressure terrible.bed had missing slats and the remaining were taped together. The TV wire was bare and the decor extremely dated wallpaper coming off wall. Stains and holes. The lampshade was dirty cups chipped. Breakfast was 1 egg (not free range) 1 bacon (cheap) value sausage. Toast was served 10mins before breakfast and when asked for more with breakfast arrived 10mins after we finished. Sausages were cold. Tables so close together no social distancing. Staff did not wear masks. We complained about our room and asked for different room we didn't get one instead cook was sent up to sort complaint areas. The good thing new lock in bathroom and did look at areas of complaint. Bed was comfortable location amazing.

Booked this place for a couple workers, went to cancel soon after as was further from location as expected, told it would cost £45 to cancel! When I requested to cancel free of charge and explained it was for a business, the rude owner refused. When the workers did arrive, they had to wait outside for 15 minutes before being rudely greeted, hotel room was dirty and old fashioned. No professional courtesy, obviously extremely desperate for money, embarassing.

Hi guys. We spend 3 nights at the Beeches hotel in October as a cheap stay while dealing with family business in the area. Now this is a very low cost hotel, so don’t expect the Ritz, we didn’t. I’ll be honest, the mattresses are not great and could do with replacing. But that’s really our only moan. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building clean and welcoming. And the breakfast is very nice, We could easily afford a higher grade of hotel, but we would happily stay here again. Also. Free WiFi is great quality
