We stayed here for the night whilst going to the Cliff's Pavilion - it is within walking distance but we were lazy and got a cab! The hotel itself is very nicely decorated in a contemporary style on the inside and with a beautiful Georgian facade. The room on the top floor is a good size with a huge bed. Nice toiletries are supplied, along with a complimentary selection of snacks and biscuits. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The whole hotel is meticulously clean. We had a warm welcome when we arrived. The breakfast has a good selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal and full English breakfast, included in the price of the room. We will definitely stay here again. This hotel is reasonably priced and they haven't inflated their prices during Summer 2021, as other hotels have done.

We only stayed one night as we were visiting a relative nearby, Its a lovely little hotel, very clean and little extras in the room, The owner and staff are lovely and provide an excellent breakfast in the morning , Would definitely stay again in the area, that's if there are any vacancies as they are always extremely busy. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Normally we just do a day trip to Southend but this time we decided to stay the night and so pleased we did. We loved our time at Hamtilons! You couldn’t ask for a better location. The room was incredible, so much bigger than we expected with a lovely balcony and sea view, comfy bed and a great shower. Breakfast was delicious and we loved that it was served until just before 10am to allow for a Sunday lie in. Will 100% be back! For anyone planning on staying would recommend parking at the station. Southend parking is a bit of a nightmare but at the station you can pay to be there for 24 hours for much cheaper than anywhere else and it’s a 5 min walk. Thank you so much Debbi. We’ll see you soon x

Beautiful property facing adventure island and views of Seafront. Manager Debbi is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Good local knowledge of area. We stayed in the balcony suite and was well worth the price as room was beautiful, balcony area with chairs and table lovely to sit at and enjoy views, big mirrors and 2 sofas 47 inch TV and seperate bedroom with another small TV dressing table and ensuite bathroom, this was a bit small but rest of room made up for it. Lovely extras like nibbles. Biscuits and sweeties too. To make our anniversary even more special we had a bottle of prosecco waiting in the mini fridge. Breakfast was also good with fresh coffee cereals fruit and full breakfast brought to tables. Excellent stay would defo recommend to any one celebrating some thing special. I'm sure we will be back.
