We celebrated my daughter and son in laws wedding at Rivenhall last night and were wonderfully hosted by Laura who organised things along with the team. Table and bar staff all very polite and efficient and food was great . It's a pity we could not do the evening the buffet the same justice as the wedding breakfast but alas...

The hotel is situated just off the A12 so is perfectly situated for commuting to nearby hot spots. Unfortunately this does mean you get a bit of noise from the road but it was not as bad as I expected. There is plenty of parking available on site. We stayed here for one night and attended a wedding at the...

I stayed for a night whilst on a business trip after booking it quickly online on the off-chance and was very pleasantly surprised. The room was nice, clean (the bed was a bit hard for my liking, but that's personal taste) and reasonably well appointed with tea/coffee and trouser press. The food in the bar and restaurant was very nice...

Having booked 3 rooms, and particularly specifying that one of which needed to be suitable for a wheelchair user, we set off on the 250 mile journey to check in for our stay. After checking in, I went to the room to find that my wheelchair room had an 8" step, and the room was as big as the bed,...

Hotel is near main roads so traffic noise could be heard. We stayed as a group for two nights bed, breakfast and evening meal. Food was satisfactory. The hotel was convenient for the places we were visiting, but if I stayed here again I would do so on a room only basis. My room had a shower over a bath...

My room was very comfortable with V and Wifi and I had an uninterrupted night's sleep. All the staff were friendly and helpful. When I asked they leant me an iron and ironing board. The bar/restaurant area has been refurbished to a high standard. I found the Hotel a bit difficult to find.

Cleverly disguised as adequate, this hotel exists only to break your very soul. It's kitted out with a heating system seemingly fitted in 1974, and apparently not maintained since. This will noisily switch on and off throughout the night, ensuring that you wake up EVERY SINGLE TIME. Hotel management failed to respond to the complaint - so are either wholly...

Just returned from the Rivenhall Hotel, this was our second visit. Both times great Fun. The first visit was for one of my brothers getting married, which was a fantastic success. Both the wedding and the reception facilities were splendid. Our return, again a large family affair was great fun. The staff are so friendly and attentive, when we arrived...
