Good value for money. Not sure about the back entrance to the hotel, okay if you arrive in daylight.

LOCATION This must be one of the easiest hotels to find. M5, northbound, 2 miles past junction 14, Michaelwood services, top of slip road, turn sharp left - hey presto! No town/city centre, country lanes or satnav problems. HOTEL Lots of car/small van parking to front, very well lit and easily observable from reception (CCTV as well) and from all... More

No road noise - perhaps because we were at the back of the hotel. The cost of only £55 was very good - have paid more and got worse. Will call on another occasion... More

Days Inn Michealwood is okay basic level service although I felt the morning receptionist could have a better attitude towards customers as she was on the mobile phone having a good gossip with her friend.

This was the first time we had stayed in a Days Inn and we were not disappointed. We had booked a family room some weeks in advance and got an excellent rate. All we required was a crash pad after attending a late night local event and had no particular expectations. So we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of... More

Tatty and in desperate need of redecoration throughout. The room was far too hot, the bathroom was not ventilated properly, there was rubbish left in the bathroom behind the door and our bin (despite being full when the room was seen to by the cleaning team) was not emptied during our stay. There was also an awful noise from other... More
