Get greeted by iPads instead of people... restaurant charges London prices and serves Iceland ready-meals, our room was cold and draughty, and located in the back end of the hotel past the smelly / dirty kitchen area.

I have been having treatments at the village spa for 10 years but sadly today will be my last. The spa has rapidly been going down hill for a while now, there appears to be a lot of staff change over, I don't think I've seen the same girl twice! Recently the spa appears to have adopted a "pack em...

I've stayed a number of times over the last two years and while in the main the staff are good the hotel needs money spent on it particularly the bedrooms as you are not offering value for money. With previous Businesses' I've worked with when a corporate rate has been agreed that's what you pay. However your company dose not...

On arrival the hotel seems pleasant enough, Self service sign in without staff show you or informing you of the whereabouts of your room is an issue. Check who you book with as you may need to pay an extra £15 to use the gym, pool and have Sky TV in your room. The room itself seems ok, Bed is...

Was sold an offer including a 2 course dinner which was cancelled by hotel due to restaurant bing closed an offered £30 for bar food. A totally different menu and not a nice 2 course dinner as we'd paid for.

A good, reasonably priced hotel. Located in a fairly bleak area, but not too bad a journey into Manchester city centre. Leisure facilities were particularly good, cheery staff throughout and very comfortable bedrooms.

Hotel was clean, welcoming and nicely presented however having driven for 7 hours, we were really looking forward to a good night's rest before continuing on our journey the following day. We were in bed by 20:45pm and were still looking at the clock at 2:30am due to the noise from other inconsiderate guests, plus there was a constant whirring...

Lovely stay but a little updating of room fixtures and fittings needed. Sofa bed was grubby, as was shower door seal. Curtains missing in main bedroom but it had a wooden blind. We would stay again. Highly recommend Sunday lunch at restaurant.

Good basic accommodation. Excellent service from Reception staff and housekeeping. However no discount given for being a member due to not booking online. Needed a wheelchairfriendly room with space and a family room fitted the bill.
