I've stayed here many, many times whilst staying on business. After staying in some of the other dreadful hotels in Alton when I first started visiting the area, this was a real find. All four rooms are great. Breakfast is good, fresh and varied with home-made bread and home-pressed apple juice. Glenn has been very accommodating and has made my...

This is a B&B which has 4 rooms available for rent. The rooms are well furnished with TV, free wifi, ensuite bathroom, comfortable beds, and plenty of closet space. I went there in January 2017 to attend a family wedding nearby. The breakfasts can range from either a large English breakfast or a smaller yoghurt and fruit breakfast. All are...

I really want to keep this B&B as my secret favourite place to stay, but it warrants a great review, so here it is! Beautifully cared for grounds surround a converted barn in classic English country setting. Have stayed in 2 of the rooms - both large, with super comfortable beds, and very, very clean. Owners are lovely - nothing...

I have stayed here annually for 6 years when working in the area and a couple of times with my wife. It is a lovely location on the edge of the town and the facilities are first class. All the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Glen always makes you feel welcome and produces great breakfasts. What is...

I'll break the review up as there were a few elements to our stay. Accommodation We stayed in Room 2 which was very comfortable and warm with a large shower with rain water head, comfortable double bed and TV. Breakfast was served by Glenn and his wife Teresa and there was a great choice from porridge to cooked breakfast accompanied...

We went on a one day cider course and Glenn was very organised and we learnt a lot. We had made cider before but lack knowledge. This was a really helpful and useful course. We didn't stay but the accommodation looked good from what we saw. I definitely recommend the cider course!

Great welcome from the owner. I was allocated room 1. Super comfortable double bed, best possible shower and even freshly-ground coffee and a cafetiere. Brilliant room in every way. Lovely breakfast and owner Glen had even produced a map for my onward journey. Tranquil country setting with nice walk to local pub and large Post office/store. This is the best...

I stayed at Upper Neatham Mill for one night when attending a course in Alton. The host was very helpful when I checked in and provided directions to the local restaurants and pubs as well as useful tips for shortcuts, as I arrived on foot. During breakfast, which was very tasty (although charged separately), we had a pleasant chat about...

“There are 4 rooms; all seem excellent and recently refurbished. Of our two, one had shower and the other a tub, so ask if you have a particular preference. Tip: if you are an international visitor and haven't prepaid bring cash or ask in advance to do an email transfer to avoid a credit card surcharge from hotel & card company. Also, if you have unlimited data on your sim card, forego the guest house's wifi option.”
