Was an average stay at an average hotel. Could do with abit more cleaning in rooms (cobwebs and dusty) couldnt shut the bathroom door and theres no locks on the door either. Breakfast was served hot that was good. No issues with parking. All nice to speak to very polite on arrival and throughout the stay! Price i think was a tad over priced at £86 i think it was only worth £60 at most Was a nice stay however and didnt have any issues other than the bathroom door and cleanless

Room is really noisy. I can’t sleep due to someone in reception constantly on the phone in the early hours of the morning. The Wi-Fi connection cuts out so I was unable to work. Will not be staying again.

Hotel rooms are a good size and very clean. This hotel is located past the dominos pizza, in-between two buildings. Jems served us late at night, helped guide us through booking when we had problems, and accommodated my big family very well. He also guided us to the hotel over the phone and showed us how to use the services available. He was very kind and helped us thoroughly. Service is impeccable, 10/10.

Booked 2 nights at the Falcon Hotel as I was in the area for a wedding. I booked via Booking.com for two reasons: the price was very reasonable, and the hotel offered a full refund for cancellations up to 24 hours in advance of check-in, which was a great deal. I booked a single room. It consisted of: - En suite bathroom with a bath/shower and the usual complimentary mini-shampoo and soap. - Single bed, reasonably comfortable - Full-sized wardrobe with hangers - Multiple good-sized mirrors - Dressing table/desk with drawers - Trouser press - Large fan - Telephone - Hair dryer - Tea and coffee facilities - Free wifi The room was clean when I arrived, and was cleaned again with fresh linens, towels etc while I was out at the wedding. In the reception/lobby area there is a bar with some seating. Off this area is a restaurant. Breakfast is included with the room. There was a choice of continental or cooked breakfast, with a checklist so you can choose precisely what you wanted. I had the cooked breakfast, which was lovely. Staff were great at accommodating my dietary needs (dairy intolerance). The restaurant is a lovely light space. Breakfast is served 7am - 8.30am Mon - Fri and 8 - 9.30am Sat, Sun and bank holidays. Personally I found that this was too early on Monday (needed a lie-in after getting back post-midnight from the wedding!) and ended up missing breakfast on Monday morning. Considering proximity to the main road and airport, the room was quiet. It was unaccountably hot, despite not being hot outside, to the extent that I struggled to sleep at night even with the fan running. At best guess, my room may have been above the kitchen? The curtains were not lined, so the room got light when the sun rose. I found the shower difficult to operate. It seemed to only have two settings: cold, or scalding hot. I twiddled the dials for a long time but couldn't find a happy medium. The hotel did have private parking outside. I noticed that there were fewer parking spaces than rooms, and there didn't seem to be any on-street parking nearby to offer an overflow. However, I had no issues parking during my stay. The hotel has a system of handing your key in when you exit the hotel, as a way of counting guests present in the event of a fire. With the traditional decor and the storing of keys in an old-fashioned box on the wall in reception, I felt like I had time travelled back a century, which was rather fun! All staff I interacted with were professional and helpful. Overall, an enjoyable experience at a really great price. If I was staying longer I would have wanted to find a remedy for the shower issue, but I would happily book again.

We have stayed here before. Staff always pleasant. The room is workable. Bed comfortable, breakfast cooked to order and over all good value for money. Bathroom a bit small and be good if they put better bath mat in bath. Will stay again if in area

Ok so it’s not the ritz but having just had a full refund from Travelodge for a disturbingly dirty room, I can honestly say that the Falcon far exceeds most budget hotels. The two members of staff that I encountered were delightful and couldn’t do enough to help. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in a hotel and the room was very clean indeed. Wasn’t noisy given that across road from airport. Room consisted of ; Tv Phone, bed, wardrobe, side tables, dresser and ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, towels and wash stuff. My only whinges would be that the shower was beyond awful, barely call it a shower as it didn’t emit much water. The bar was overpriced and there was no dairy free alternatives and didn’t notice a lift ( may’ve been hidden?) I would definitely return however.

This hotel is a self certified 3 star. Actually should be a 1 star! I stayed Saturday night paying for 2 delux doubles. There is absolutely nothing about this hotel that is delux. The room was so dated and nothing like the pictures on the website. I’m disappointed and honestly if I had more time on check in I would have asked for a refund. My sons room had mould growing above the wardrobe number 17 and the carpets had so many stains in both rooms.(and 18) The room was dull not enough lighting, one plug and the shower was literally unusable it would have taken an hour to wash my hair which I wanted to do but ended up going out with dirty hair. The room and the whole hotel was freezing I actually slept in my big winter coat. The very first door I pushed entering into the property around the handle was black dirt obviously from hands then the second door, it was then I just thought Oh No! But it got worse I started looking after at all the doors and light switched and all were filthy dirty. Outside the main entrance was a really big plant pot full of cigarettes. The paper was hanging in places from the walls. The bed hard. The chair in 18 had a big stain in the middle I observed also on my way out the cleaner had the clean bed sheets out side a room she was cleaning not on a trolly just on the dirty carpet that’s disgusting ! The decking area at the front looked broken and shabby. Going up the stair way was scuff after scuff . We arrived late 7pm and was starving hungry and thirsty and the manager said the restaurant was closed and the bar? Really why advertise on the website? Everything was false advertising the fact the delux room was nothing like the pictures and not having the bar or restaurant open was just ridiculous. Breakfast was just rubbish cheapest ingredients, cheap yogurt the beans smelt and tasted of ash therefore inedible and the mushrooms were tinned. Scrambled microwave eggs not mixed properly tasted and looked like rubber. Honestly I could not wait to leave I didn’t even want to stand on the carpet with no shoes on. The owners need to take a long look at themselves for not cleaning handles and switches in this pandemic. Would never return, would never recommend. It infuriates me why these big companies advertising this hotel allow hoteliers to sell you something completely different. It’s wrong ! It’s cheating the customer
