A Victorian house (now hotel) with plenty of character in pleasant and mature wooded landscape. The staff were welcoming , the room clean , comfortable and quiet .The evening bar and food very good and the breakfast excellent.

Stayed a couple od days with my dog. Service great - nothing too much trouble. Food, what I had was delicioys and cooked fresh. My room was huge and on ground floor - clearly for disabled use and plenty of space to move arlund and manover wheelchair in room and bathroom. Lounge

I stopped over at the Lismoyne whilst working locally. Decent room which was really comfy and super quiet. The restaurant and bar area are fine and the food was really good. Breakfast too, really decent food. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all and the price was very reasonable.

Is there much to do in walking distance of the hotel?
The high street is about 10 minutes walk with bars and restaurants. Station 15 minutes walk - we went to winchester.
