We came here for Sunday dinner, the food was very good, freshly cooked veg, well cooked lamb and beef, fresh and massive yorkshire puddings and the dessert was also fresh and well cooked. The pub was cosy and atmospheric inside with a welcoming atmosphere. We caught a bit of the Sunday night quiz which was busy and looked fun. Nice...

Been here a few times, the Sunday Lunch was lovely as it always has been, but the service was muddly, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and uncertain at times. Although they were busy being a Sunday we actually visited fairly late in the afternoon when things had become quieter, but still their remained some confusion and lack of communication.

The food is home cooked and the portions are very generous. Because everything is prepared fresh we had to wait a while but just enjoyed our...

Buriton is a lovely village with a beautiful church and pond to greet you as you drop down from the footpath. Our accommodation was in a self-contained cottage just outside the pub. It had a shower room, separate toilet, a large bedroom that would sleep four and a cosy sitting room with a kitchenette at one end. The kitchenette had...

Great pub. Excellent local feel. Very lively. Great food. Accommodation was self catering but you could buy ingredients in the pub the night before to make your own breakfast. The bathroom was snug with a very tiny shower. Convenient for the South Downs Way. This is a really nice pub well worth the visit.
