Very disappointing. Ordered roast beef Sunday lunch. Brought wrong meal initially left the veg but picked up few mins later Brought correct meal 5ins later. Waitress did ask few mins after serving if all ok but husband responded ok but I was not happy veg & roasties & gravy lukewarm. I did complain as waitress picked up dishes she said...

We live close by, visit regularly, but realised we had not commented on TA. This is a very good venue indeed for Sunday lunch - in fact the best we have experienced in our locality. The selection on Sundays tends to be restricted to normal roasts as is the norm. What is not the norm is the quality of the...

We held a family birthday yesterday, 5 rooms booked for an overnight stay, bedrooms are very quaint and comfortable, well equipped with teapots, cafetière and fresh milk. There were 22 eating, we were given the back room just for us and able to arrange tables to suit. The food was all very good but unfortunately service was very slow and...

I really love this place, cosy, quant historic pub with wonderful log fires and the best beer garden with a lovely stream running through. Not secured in any way though so children have to be watched. The service can be really poor, never enough staff but if you are not on a clock it's definitely worth a visit

Very poor service. Waited ages to get served but barmaid took phone call and kept us waiting. Such a shame because the pub looks beautiful. Went to greyhound across the road instead which never fails to impress.

Firstly, I cannot understand why this restaurant was so low in the ratings. Beautiful interior, thoughtful staff, and the most amazing home made food I have tasted in a long time. We ordered off the specials menu and my mother has Parkinson's so asked if her cod could be cut up for her. The chef went beyond this request and...

Cold windy and pouring with rain we ran into this pub to see if they had any space - lucky for us they did. We both ordered a Sunday roast and weren't disappointed . Big portions and piping hot with lovely freshly cooked vegetables - an interesting mix of cauliflower cheese , broccoli , red cabbage and roast potatoes with...

Great venue, low ceilings, snugs, rustic furniture is back drop to great menu, super service and wonderful food. Beers not bad either! Came in on a wet Sunday for a Roast. Not disappointed. Window seat (hugging a rad) made it cozy and comfortable. Bread and oil - very tasty. Roast Pork and Crackling with elephant ear Yorkshire and country veg....

We live about an hours drive from Stockbridge and we like visiting the area. We booked a table for lunch at the Three Cups. Sadly the service was extremely slow and very off-handed. We waited ages for our roast pork lunch and when it arrived it was just barely warm. The meat was not very tender, the veggies were very...

We've tried and tried with The Three Cups as we are local but it's just terrible. Went for Sunday lunch. Waited more than 30mns for our food. Service was appalling. Venison was overcooked. Beef was as tough as leather soles. Yorkshire puddings not home made. Nearly broke a tooth on the roast potatoes. Just don't go. Please.
