We just had baguettes which were beautifully presented and very tasty. The only downside for this establishment is the ladies' toilet. This is very tight indeed and if there are more than 2 people in there, it is impossible to move. I hurt myself quite badly entering the cubicle as it is so tight and crowded, so be careful!

Lou and Tony are very friendly hosts. The prices are very fair and the meals have always been very tasty and very well presented. The locals are friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. There is a good selection of Ales, Lagers and spirits. I would strongly recommend a visit, especially for the Sunday Roasts.

Came here after a walk and had a drink and a plate of food which were a satisfactory end to an afternoon in the New Forest. The choice of food was impressive and the food deals were good. The food quality was fair but at the prices. It did what it "says on the tin".

Well, upon entering we were sort of "greeted" by locals, not the most welcoming..The staff were equally welcoming. The meals took rather a long time. This gave us the expectation of the wow factor, But alas the food was thrown together and very dry. Parts were undercooked, parts were overcooked, presumably because they had trouble timing a lamb steak (actually...

I have never been to such a awful place in my life the food was slow coming out and when it did finally came out things were wrong. we were served by a waitress that had a face like a bag of spanners and a personality to match. I was unable to tell the difference between the four different meats...

Had the most fantastic carvery lunch at the Mailmans Arms. The meat was cooked very well and so much of it. Very nice to have such a choice of vegetables, wonderful atmosphere also. Thoroughly recommend a visit to this pub.

Central location, quick service but very standard pub grub (not particularly memorable). Sampled the scampi and the sausages, both of which we would try again. Don't expect to be amazed but is perfectly adequate.

I have been here twice for a carvery and each time the food is outstanding!!! It is hot, fresh and a great selection of veg! It is great value for money! You also get a free slice of cake with a hot drink. The staff were very friendly both times. Highly recommend
