We nearly didn't come to this restaurant. We had called in the previous evening to be told they were fully booked although we walked by twice at different times during the evening and there were several free tables-I suspect they had insufficient staff. The next evening we called ahead to be told kitchen was closing early at 8 rather than 9.30 on...

Stayed here twice now... summer 2015/ 2016...first stay couldn't fault anything. Rooms clean, staff friendly and just a few minutes walk to town. Our last stay both rooms were dirty, shower gel containers in room were empty. Lock on door didn't work properly. My friends breakfast was forgotten, after half hour it came out cold by then we'd finished our...

Came over from the Isle of Wight for the day, we walked in and there was 1 table left, luckily cause after travelling after a long day we didn't want to be turned away.. The staff were lovely the food was great, the apple and cinnamon crumble was to die for. They have a separate gluten free menu which is...

We had noticed this quaint country pub with a large car park on our way through Lyndhurst. We chose the winter menu & started with a shared portion of whitebait. These were spicy and succulent and not the usual deep-fried greasy Ines you often find where the oil has been re-used. For mains: lamb steak served with green beans and...

Dave the manager is a super guy. Fantastic service and very accommodating. The whole staff were very friendly and welcoming to tourists. We visited all the pubs in the area, and what the pub lacks in authenticity it makes up for in a varied menu and delightful staff.

Stopped in here for a bite to eat when our journey took longer then expected. Food was delicious and there was a decent choice available. The food was ready very quickly and the service was excellent. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

We came here with my husband and 2 kids for a Sunday roast. So much choice of meats and kids meals and extras. The desserts were gorgeous too. The staff very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Would recommend.

Stayed at the White Rabbit many times already as Lyndhurst is a go to Village. Customer service is friendly but could be a little more attentive. The rooms are usually decent sized but not always clean, the drains in the showers are always clogged with hair so the showers flood a little if you're in for too long. The location...

Called in here on the way to our hotel on Friday evening. Clean inviting and good food. The staff were welcoming and the food, drink and dining were good value for money. We chose the burgers both chicken and beef. Would recommend.
