This is located in a quiet part of the forest. There is a train station nearby and the railway ran close to our accomodation but we weren't affected by it. We were lucky to be upgraded to a four poster bed crown room which was a nice size. The food quality and service was excellent especially the breakfast although the...

Treat my wife to a night away for her birthday. Greeted by the friendly receptionist, who upgraded our room on arrival. The room was big, bright and had views of the wild horses. We dined in the restaurant and the choice and good was amazing. The care of the presentation was great, the food was hot and definitely fine dining,...

We booked a 3 night stay at the hotel for New Year. We have previously stayed here in the main hotel, but this time had a Crown Room (No. 29) in the Annexe, which was a good size for us, our two sons and two dogs. This room is more modern than the previous one we had in the main...

This is not a luxury hotel and anyone looking for that 'little bit extra' may come away disappointed, however our room was an excellent size, well heated and with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The location is superb, great walks literally all around the hotel. The small pool was available but unfortunately the steam...

We stayed here on the 29th Dec for 2 nights as a family of four. We booked this on a whim as our original holiday plans fell through. Well what can I say..such a lovely hotel. Very friendly staff who were particularly attentive to my 4 year old twin girls. We had a lovely room overlooking the new forest which...

Lovely hotel, little dated but the staff were so lovely that it didn't matter! Good food and reasonably priced drinks. Would highly recommend the pub next door for dinner. Great location and countryside.

Arrived Christmas Eve to a warm welcome, check in was efficient considering we were a party of 16!. Our room, a double was a good size with a large bathroom with toiletries for our use if needed. Clean towels and bedding, small wardrobe, TV, coffee making facilities etc. A Christmas card and chocolates from staff was a lovely touch, also...
