I needed to stay near Worcester for a week and searched on Booking.com. The Holly Tree was both the cheapest (£50 a night) and the highest rated (9.4) for my dates. It is 13 miles from Worcester down an easy road in beautiful countryside. Bromyard is quaint. The Holly Tree is well maintained with delightful decor and an eclectic mixture... More

I stayed with a friend so we had two rooms, both doubles for single occupancy. The rooms/bathroom are really well decorated and clean. The breakfast is awesome. Room 2 is at the back and quiet (albeit a little on the small side if there were two people) and the bathroom has a window. Room 5 was much larger but faces... More

Very warm welcome, shown to our room which was a nice room, comfy, a little cramped but fine for one night. Very good breakfast the next morning. It was only a stop over on our way to the Fishguard ferry.

I stayed here for one night with my partner as celebrating my Mums 50th birthday. From walking in through the door we felt so welcome. Gorgeous rooms with beautiful upholstery. Breakfast was amazing, just what we needed and even better that you can choose the time to have it. From beginning to end a lovely stay. Great value for money... More

Overnight stay only en route to Welsh border. Stayed in Room 1 downstairs. Very clean and comfy room / good bed. Clean and well fitted bathroom. Superb breakfast. Made very welcome by host... Not far from town centre where there is ample choice of pubs/restaurants. Recommended.

Our second visit: Sharon gave us (another!) warm welcome, remembering that we had stayed before. It makes a great stop for the Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb or nearby National Trust properties. Nice room, spotlessly clean with a comfy bed - we are near 60 & this is very important! GREAT breakfast, served just as we asked & beautifully cooked. Plenty of... More

Whilst I have stayed at the Holly Tree several times before I am always made to feel special, mine hosts are always obliging and nothing is too much trouble . Bathrooms are spotless and you won't find any of that nasty black mould around the shower. I am vegetarian but the breakfast is never disappointing. I have stayed in many... More

Our room was so comfortable, beds, pillows and decor all quality. Breakfast is fantastic. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. The hosts make this a warm and fun stay. Very clean with such a great atmosphere. It is within walking distance to town with good pubs, "The Falcon" for that "faulty towers" feel.
