The Grounds and Gardens are stunning and extensive. The planting mixed with sculptures is beautiful. The views are lovely. After a walk round the Gardens High Tea is recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is a delight to eat. Book well before you want to go as it is popular.

Attended the Grove for a Charity Golf Day and Ball. Being The Grove you would expect high standards and this visit did not disappoint. However I would say that for all the great surroundings, food and style. The one thing that made the visit so good was the quality of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and each and everyone...

My friend and I stopped by for a light lunch and have a general look around for a future booking. I had the club sandwich, I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the food especially considering its a 5 star hotel and they charge £15. The staff were a bit scarce after our meal was served. however on the...

We arrived at The Grove at the beginning of our most recent trip to the UK. What a refreshing entry into the British countryside! This estate, once a party destination for Queen Victoria and some of her contemporary high society, is classic on the outside and beautifully decorated with imagination and whimsy on the inside. The service is impeccable and...

It is impossible not to give the corporate utopia of The Grove Hotel 5 stars. I would usually be far too poor to stay at such a hotel but luckily myself and my wife made the most of the midweek spa deal which was good value for money. As we arrived, we felt a bit embarrassed parking up our bird-poo...

Stayed at the Grove to celebrate our anniversary for a couple of child free nights in April 2017 in the superior (mansion) room overlooking the golf course. Superb view, superb rooms and the service throughout our stay was exceptional. Very good buffet breakfast in the mornings but don't leave it too late. The large indoor pool at the spa is...

We were a group of families coming to spend the Easter weekend at the Grove. The grounds are beautiful, especially if you golf. The walled gardens are also impressive, although the kids activities are quite limited and they could have done much more to entertain the children. The easter scheduly put our expectations quite high. The rooms were spacious and...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us over the Easter Break. I am pleased that you enjoyed the outdoor spaces such as The Walled Garden and our stunning grounds. Seriously concerned about child safety. No designated path to access Walled Garden, children running through car parks and car routes. Poor supervision by pool and dangerous equipment on beach. Very poor service where children concerned. Our 7 year old spent 4 hours in A&E with a suspected broken leg. On her return not one manager or member of staff enquired...

Celebratory meal with family and friend. Glasshouse restaurant has a superb selection of food with very attentive but not intrusive service. The fish and seafood were the freshest we'd had inland. Definitely recommend but a little pricey.
