Staying close by not been for about 4 years big change still a quaint pub but the dining is now more bistro we wanted a sandwich and fries etc but more upper market at a price, however excellent drink but eat elsewhere due to being more selective meals and not the average style of sandwiches etc during lunchtime.

Our all too short stay at The Green Man was brilliant. The whole place is amazing with its mixture of the very old building mixed with clean and comfortable decor .We had a front room with a double aspect but the road is so quirt the we did not get disturbed by traffic. The staff are welcoming and helpful as...

We stayed here for 2 nights on 20th January. Our stay was good The staff were lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. The food was outstanding. Only reason this is not a 5 star review is that the room needed more attention to detail when it came to cleaning and our towels and sheets were slightly tatty and thread bare.

I would love to award "excellent" to The Greenman and in most respects that is what it deserves but there are one or two points lacking to make guests' experience 100%. We arrived in the dark - there is no sign outside the hotel to tell you where the entrance is - we guessed at a door with a light...

We spent a few days at The Green Man just after Christmas 2016. It is a country pub in a building that goes back several hundred years, which offers rooms in the main building, as well as in a more modern annex. The food in the restaurant was really good, with lamb, pheasant, venison, salmon etc, and a couple of...

I have to thank them and just say it was a wonderful day glad we booked and will do again. Thank you...

Having stayed here in the past, we weren't surprised to find the standard as good as before. Our dual aspect room was extremely spacious & it was immaculate. In the evening we ate in the restaurant & once again the quality of the food & service was first class. The same goes for the breakfast the following morning. The staff,...

This is an excellent pub serving great pub food with a good selection of local beers. The food is excellent from dinner to breakfast. Our room was also lovely and large. We had a nice little balcony with views of the gardens and hills. The bed was comfy an nice touches in the shower room as well. Plenty spacious. We...

In order to explore Herefordshire we wanted a good restaurant / hotel and chose the Greenman as our base Unfortunately we were unable to reserve a room online as the hotel was full for our chosen night. By chance we phoned up to find that there was indeed availability! We opted for a 'double compact' at the front of the...

I stayed with a fishing friend, the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us. The food and beer are great, the room was very comfortable. The location is perfect for fishing the Rive Wye. We will be visiting again.
