This is the second time we have stayed here.
The room was pleasant and clean with an excellent shower.
Our only fault is the reception staff on both this visit and our previous one, 2 years ago aren't very welcoming... on checking in the guy...More

Watford junction is quite a distance, about 10/15 miles I would say. There Is a mainline station in Hemel Hempstead but a taxi ride away, too far to walk. It's next to a BP petrol station with a small m&s food shop. There are restaurants and a Tesco supermarket near but not really walking distance as there are no pavements. It's ok if you're driving down the M1 as it is just off junction 8 and you do need a car to get to shops and restaurants. Personally I'd look for a hotel in Watford town centre.
