Without doubt the best B&B of 6 we stayed in Offa's Dyking. Nice house. Good size rooms. Delightful host who provided us with Tea and scones on arrival. Bathrooms with shower and bath. Nice thick towels. Fresh flowers. Full range of cereals at breakfast, plus fruit and yogurt if you want it. Good size rooms. Good value. What more could...

Had a twin room to myself, large bathroom with shower and bath. Friendly reception. The highlight has to be the breakfast; fruit salad, choice of 4 muesili types, choice of cooked breakfast, fruit juice, brioche as well as toast. Excellent value.

Great hospitality and warmth of welcome from the landlady. The room was comfortable and it was good to have access to a bath en suite after a day of walking. The breakfast was a delight and the porridge.......

Friendly and welcoming, lovely tea and cake each afternoon and an excellent breakfast. We...

We were walking Offas Dyke and enjoyed a very warm welcome after the days trek. Tea and cake on arrival and the luxury of a bath tub. Mine host gave us a run down of the towns pubs and restaurants. The comfortable rooms were complimented with a fine breakfast. All in all the perfect stopover.

Susan was very friendly with tea and cake when we arrived and a great, healthy breakfast to set us up for another long walking day. I would definitely recommend to...

We based ourselves at De Lacy House for 5 days walking Offa's Dyke with friends. It's in an ideal position for this with several reasonably priced eating places within walking distance. We were made very welcome by Susan who "went the extra mile" to make us feel at home. We particularly appreciated the tea and cakes offered to us on...

We received the warm welcome we had come to expect on this walk accompanied by tea and cake on arrival. Damp clothes taken to boiler room for drying and newspaper provided for insertion into damp boots. Lovely and bright ensuite bedroom and guest lounge to relax in. This is the place to stay for an outstanding breakfast - the fresh...
