we treated ourselves to a trip away this year, yes of course i was grumbling about the price as usual, Talk about splendour, from the minute you get out of your car, to the minute you leave, the two chaps can not do enough for you, the whole place is such as i have personally never seen, from the chaps...

We stayed 3 nights in the country house this summer with our dog. The place is quiet and we felt very welcome. It enjoys a spectacular seaview. The house is beautifully decorated throughout and in every detail. It provides good portion of breakfast and spoil you with the choice of fresh fruits. Its charm is enriched with its historical link...

We were looked after very well at the Winterbourne; nothing was too much trouble for Andrew and Andy, who were friendly and helpful, always discreet and never intrusive. There are two comfortable and relaxing lounges, which, like the breakfast room, overlook the terrace and the beautiful and extensive gardens which roll down to the sea. There was a very wide...

The Winterbourne is truly amazing! Our expectations were high after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed, Once there sitting on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens that run down to the sea you understand why Dickins thought so much of this place., Andrew and Andy were great hosts and our room was a smaller room without seaview it...

What can I say! I have just returned from the Winterbourne and I was sorry to leave! Tucked away in the pretty village of Bonchurch, with beautiful sea and woodland views, yet within a 25 minute walk of Ventnor, this is in a great location. Both peaceful and tranquil, this is a place to get your blood pressure down and...

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel: a stunning location, lovely building and rooms, incredibly friendly staff, and the most wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Part of its charm is that it is only a B&B rather than a full-service hotel, as the lack of a busy evening restaurant makes its tranquility even greater, and the owners are happy to recommend and book...

A stunning house in a perfect location. Clean well equipped rooms, attentive friendly staff. Canine friends are welcome and well catered for. The views from the garden terrace on a fine day are spectacular. The house operates a bed and breakfast only format but this is not a problem due to the number of excellent eating places close by. Guest...

Having always wanted to visit the Isle of Wight, a surprise long weekend there for my birthday was a lovely present. Winterbourne House was a wonderful place to stay, with amazing views across the tropical gardens to the sea. Our room was nice and cozy and the shared rooms were equally so. The staff were really friendly and made the...
