Basic and dirty, no soap in bathroom, fridge making noises all night, cigarette burns and dog hair all over carpet, lumpy old mattress, tiny tv too high on wall to see, every room that run the taps would ignite the boiler noise, rooms were nothing like the photos, doors banging throughout the night Photos on the website were nothing like...

Worst place I've ever stayed. Shower didn't work bed lumpy. Manager was rude and arrogant. Just interested in taking your money not on customer service. If i had more time i would hace stayed else where. Stay away.

Not worth the money, rude staff, cheap bedroom, cannot even swing a cat in the bathroom its so small, I stayed it for when i was working on the island. You DONT EVEN GET COOKED BREAKFAST you only get 1 croissant , 1 yogurt and a banana. Its ridiculous, i would not suggest this place to anyone!!!

Have just stayed here. Good points, handy for ferry, bed comfy, had tea/coffee and fridge. Owners helpful and friendly. Minus points, expensive, room like sardine tin, shower was nothing more than shower attachment, rarely had hot water and impossible to rinse my hair. Sink so small and low, hard to clean teeth/shave. No hairdryer which was on my confirmation. The...

Stayed here for one night, great room, very comfortable bed and good shower in ensuite. A good place to stay as a base as no breakfast is available, a continental is for a few pounds. This suited me as I had to leave early in the morning. The hotel owner greeted me and was really pleasent along with her Labrador...

My sister and I were very disappointed that having paid 'London' prices to stay in this guest house (no facilities so not a hotel) and pre-booking our room, on arrival we were surprised to be directed (by the cleaner) to a alternative one. We specifically selected Room 7 - confirmed on our booking - as it was further from the...

As described, hotel is clean & comfortable, perfectly adequate for short stay. Owner was very helpful & available when needed. Double glazing dealt well with any traffic noise. Dog was welcomed & felt at home.

The B&B was fine for our needs. We were only staying for one night, and we found it to be comfortable and quiet. As it happened, we made use of the doctor's surgery that was conveniently located across the road! No breakfast, so perhaps a little on the pricey side. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, so no complaints.

This was nearly the most expensive place I stayed in whilst walking the coastal path with my dog. Plus: it's dog friendly. Cons: very noisy at night, lots of boy racers driving past, poor wifi, no communal areas, no breakfast. The only place I stayed where I just could not recommend it at all.
