We come every year to the YHA Medway with a group of french speaking girls from Belgium who are around 14 years old to practice their English. We love this place mainly for the homey feeling we get after so many years visiting. The people working here are always doing their very best to ensure we have everything we need...

Booked a family room for three for a two night stay. The room and bathroom facilities were as expected (good value for money). The service was excellent - very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed a YHA evening meal and breakfasts. Found lots of activities in the area. We'll be returning.

Our walking group stayed at Medway Youth Hostel March 2017 which is a former Oast House typical of the brewing heritage of the area in a great location with ample parking and is close to the North Downs area. The rooms were clean although quite compact but were well laid out with ample and spacious hot shower and toilet provisions...

Stayed here for a full week for a work seminar. Staff were fantastic- always friendly and professional and accommodating to any of our needs. Specifically the food was great and the place felt like home after one night.

We would never stay here again. On Saturday night the whole place was taken over for an all night party. Music shouting and screaming until 4am. Completely out of control. Not what you'd expect from YHA.

I have recently been staying at YHA Medway for 2 nights a week to reduce my commute/ time/fuel costs. I have enjoyed the home from home feel. The feel of the hostel is professional but somehow manages to stay very relaxed., The staff also make you feel welcome. Fantastic value for money , a hot shower , a place to...

As a weekly guest at YHA Medway, I have never been disappointed. This hostel has been a complete sanctuary in an otherwise quite challenging area of Kent. Reassuringly warm, homely, welcoming and peaceful, the hostel is impeccably well cared for. One important aspect to note is that the hostel is a little out of town, so if you are a...

I was so happy to have found this gem tucked away close to where I grew up. I immediately felt welcome from the minute I arrived, and the christmas tree and festive lights really cheered me up (as I was spending christmas away from my family). The hostel was clean and well kept, and my room was warm despite how...

A friend recently recommended YHA hostels and we weren't disappointed. Clean and comfortable beds with a double and bunks for kids, perfect for a family. Minimalistic with no fuss. Exactly what we wanted. Hostel doesn't open until 5pm which isn't mentioned so had to wait around but made the most of the great location with Capstone country park on the...
