Our third visit to this guesthouse in eighteen months. Trisha makes a great host and we always leave wanting to return! She has three or four rooms, that are decoarted and furnished very well. Breakfast is fantastic! Trisha cannot do enough to help the residents and she is a real credit to the people of Hythe,

This B and B is well situated near Hythe High Street which has a variety of eating places. The rooms are clean, if somewhat twee although the shower area is very small. One of the rooms has a huge step up and over to the bathroom which could be quite a problem at night. The lounge upstairs was a good...

My family (we live in Germany) gave me a trip to our old haunts in the UK for my 70th birthday, and Sunny Bank was booked (four rooms) for a two-night stay. The decoration of this beautiful old house is indeed flowery- pretty, which might not appeal to everyone, but surely the most important aspects are comfort, cleanliness, a friendly...

Charmingly old fashioned, this delightful B&B is perfectly situated at the end of Hythe High Street and is within minutes of shops, restaurants and the beach. The house is situated in an elevated prominent position with a gorgeous picturesque well tendered established colourful garden in front of it. Like the garden the rooms are also very floral and colourful from...

Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects when letting rooms,so unfortunately this b/b falls just below this i.e..glasses unclean in the dining room, toast racks and milk jugs dirty, soaps from previous occupants left in the en suites.Really its just simple things that takes no effort. On a brighter note the rooms are cosy and warm with free view and free...

I booked in for three nights at this guest house and outwardly the house and gardens looked beautiful. However on the second night as I was ready to climb into bed (approx. 10pm) I saw a mouse running from under a chest of drawers round the room and back under the drawers, not once but at least on four occasions...

In May and June we stayed at Sunny Bank while house hunting. We don't drive now, so were most grateful for excellent hostess Tricia Elsdon's offer to collect us from Sanderling Station - saved us going on to Folkestone Central! Charming pleasant room, comfortable bed, good breakfasts! Sunny Bank has a delightful garden to admire. The guest house is a...

I visited Sunny Bank House with my partner for two night in late February/early March 2014. We were greeted in arrival by owner Trish who is very welcoming. We were shown to our room which was very floral which is not to my taste but I was well aware of this upon booking. The room was clean and we'll stocked,...
