In a quiet square just 10 mins from seafront. Liam and Louise have created a very special B&B here. The three rooms take over a floor each. We had Room2 and room and bathroom were extremely well appointed and large. The room was tastefully decorated to compliment the Grade II listed building in what was Liam's personal style I think....

We loved the readings rooms b+b, the room and bathroom were beautiful and the attention to detail from the books on the mantle piece to the toiletries was excellent. We couldn't praise the breakfast enough and the owners were so helpful and welcoming. If you want a romantic break you couldn't do better than this

Hi Lucy M, Thanks so much for such a lovely review. We're so glad you enjoyed your special break with us. If booking with us, we only book direct via our own website and phone. If a site says they're checking our prices and availability, they're fibbing! Very best wishes, Louise

I suppose it depends what you're looking for. Sure, it's not cheap, but if you're looking for cheap stay in the travelodge (if there is one). If, on the other hand, you're looking for a getaway, some respite from the madness and some indulgent comfort, then look no further than here. There is absolutely nothing I can fault. No expense...

A fantastic place to stay. The house is on a beautiful square near the old town, 10 minutes walk from the seafront. Up an atmospheric staircase to a wonderful light bedroom, with an incredible bathroom, and in the morning a breakfast fit for kings. Who could ask for more?

Situated a few minutes walk from the old town in a quiet square, the Reading Rooms is a perfect place to stay. The best breakfast I think I've ever had! Brought to the room each morning with lots of choice and delicious goodies. Beautiful big bathroom with massive bath and shower. Shutters instead of curtains which just added to the...

What a great place to spend our two nights in Margate - well worth the relatively high daily cost. An excellent large bedroom and bathroom, with a very comfortable king sized bed, plus an amazing breakfast (we had to skip lunch on the first day as we were still too full!). Highly recommended for those willing to pay a bit...

Thanks for coming to stay with us and for leaving us a review! We're really glad to hear you enjoyed all the extras we put into our rooms. The bed is super king. We thought people would appreciate really, really big comfy beds on holiday. We offer an all in price which includes our breakfasts. Whatever you like and whatever...

My daughter recommended this place and how right she was. It is simply the best B&B I have ever stayed in. There are three top notch places we have stayed in: one hotel on Lake Como, one idiosyncratic B&B in the Welsh Marches, and this one. I think this one just edges into first place for style, attention to detail...

Stayed here one night with my partner mid week. It was £160 for the night which is pricey, but it had come highly recommended. The room itself is beautiful and it's clear a lot of love has gone into every detail - everything from the sheets to the toiletries have been picked carefully and the breakfast was excellent...but it really...

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We're really glad you enjoyed all the little extras in our rooms. We offer an all inclusive price with no hidden extras. Many other places charge extra for breakfasts. We are indeed a B&B and as such our rooms cover an entire floor of the house. Our guests...

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I rarely write reviews but felt it was important to sing its praises. The rooms are beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. I had an incredible bath with REN products which are my favourite. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and we could order as much or as little as we wanted from the...
