Very good hotel. Family room was good size although only needed double. Very clean. Far too hot even for the end of January. Public areas very pleasant bar and restaurant good although a little chaotic for breakfast waited a long time, wrong orders delivered to table. Unable to get drinks at night although residents after hours.

We stayed for one night in a normal suite. We also dined there. The hotel is clean and tidy, the desk staff, bar staff and waiting staff were very good. Our room was on the small size, with a shower only. It was clean and tidy, the view was over the front of the hotel and conservatory. If you want...

Went to Sandwich during the half-term break with the kids. We walked around and found a gem. We had some coffee in the bar area. Was a lovely feel to this and had then a look around. Lovely rooms and very comfortably decorated rooms. The kids wanted to stay over but we had to drive home. Will be returning!

We liked our stay at this historical hotel. The rooms are modern and food was ok but there were a few issues: Hotel only provides parking for 4 cars so we had to use the nearby parking for which we had to pay and get up early to feed the meter. Wifi is poor and to use it you have to...

We stayed The Bell after a nearby wedding the hotel staff were most helpful and our room was clean and modern, a little small but worth the money. Overall a lovely hotel, parking near by, and the bar was great and open late!

A long weekend with my girlfriend and we couldn't have chosen a better very quiet relaxed long weekend to stay with fantastic service by ALL staff, a great fun atmosphere and our room was lovely, superbly clean and excellent facilities (appreciating we booked the top suit, so to be expected). A wonderful stay and somewhere that we would recommend and...

Unfortunately, our stay at the Bell Hotel, Sandwich was ruined by a drafty, cold bathroom, and loud noise outside our bedroom due to a function in the Regency Room until midnight. We hoped for a quiet relaxing Saturday evening when returning from a meal at the George and Dragon, only to find a function on our floor making horrendous noise...

We came to the Bell in late December for a friend's wedding and stayed overnight. We were greeted by friendly check-in staff. We were directed to our room which was upstairs - note there is no lift for anyone unable to use stairs. Once we'd been to the wedding we were bedding down for the night and noticed a couple...

Very well laid out, the Brasserie has an informal atmosphere with a lively vibe. It's pub grub done well at a good price. Staff very attentive, pleasant contributing to making an ideal lunch place. Located by the river with plenty of parking on the quayside which is free in the Winter.

Thank David E
